The tool connects to the user's wallet via window.ethereum, reads cover pool holdings and yield data from the cover contract, calculates current APY and accumulated yield, overlays APY information on cover pool listings, identifies pools with significant APY changes, and provides recommendations. WHERE IT RUNS The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on Twitter/X pages at https://twitter.com/* and https://x.com/*. It works on any Twitter/X page where the user's wallet is connected and cover pool activity is visible. The tool connects to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call and the ethers library loaded at runtime. No data is sent to any external server; all reads happen directly from the blockchain through your wallet provider. HOW TO USE Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to Twitter/X with your wallet connected, and open the Cover Pool APY Overlay panel. Set your APY change threshold percentage (default 5%) — the tool will alert you when APY changes exceed this value. Select your yield display format from the dropdown — APY, Daily, or Weekly — to control how yields are shown. Choose your alert preference — Panel only, Browser notification, or Both. Toggle "Auto-check on page load" if you want the tool to analyze automatically when you open the panel. Click "Scan APY" — the tool reads your cover pool holdings and yield data from the cover contract, calculates current APY and accumulated yield, overlays APY information on cover pool listings, identifies pools with significant APY changes, and displays a comprehensive analysis with recommendations. When significant yield changes are detected, the tool triggers alerts with APY updates and yield comparisons. Click "Refresh" to manually update the APY overlay. MECHANISM — COVER POOL YIELD ANALYSIS WITH APY OVERLAY This tool uses a cover pool yield analysis engine that overlays APY information on pool listings. The system first connects to window.ethereum and requests the user's wallet address. It reads the user's cover pool holdings and yield data from the cover contract via eth_call, identifying all pools with user holdings and their current yield rates. The tool calculates the current APY and accumulated yield for each pool using the formula: APY = (yield / holdings) * 100. The tool also tracks historical APY data to calculate yield changes over time. The overlay information is displayed with color-coded indicators: GREEN for APY increases, RED for APY decreases, and YELLOW for significant changes. The urgency classification uses a multi-tier system: ALERT (APY change ≥ threshold), WATCH (APY change approaching threshold), or NORMAL (APY change < threshold). Recommendations are generated based on the yield changes and comparisons across pools. THE PANEL The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the Twitter/X interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit the platform. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your social media and DeFi workflow. PLEASE NOTE This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (such as MetaMask) already installed in your browser. EVM chains only — currently supports Ethereum mainnet. This is a monitoring and overlay tool only — it does not execute yield claim or pool management transactions automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the displayed APY values match the exact moment of execution due to on-chain latency. It cannot account for yield changes between data reads. It cannot read cover pool data from protocols other than those supported. It cannot predict future yield changes or APY trends. It cannot read private wallet information or investment intentions. All blockchain reads are performed directly through your wallet provider; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser.
