WHAT IT DOES

The Cross-Chain Debt Repayment Router lets you repay debt positions on one chain using funds from another chain. You specify the router contract, source chain (where repayment funds are), destination chain (where debt is), debt token address, repayment token address (native or ERC-20), and the amount. The tool reads your current debt, collateral, interest rate, liquidation threshold, bridge status, and balances. It then bridges the repayment funds from source to destination and executes the debt repayment in a single transaction. This is essential for users who earn yield or hold funds on one chain but need to repay debt on another.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet and select your current network. Enter the repayment router contract address, source and destination chain IDs, the debt token address, and the repayment token address (use 0x0 for native currency). Specify the amount to repay. Click "Preview repayment" to see your current debt, collateral, interest rate, liquidation threshold, bridge status, estimated time, bridge fee, and balance. If everything looks correct, click "Repay debt" — the tool will approve the router (if needed) and execute the repayment transaction. Progress is shown in real-time, and gas costs are calculated accurately using effectiveGasPrice.

ONE TECHNICAL SECTION — THE REAL MECHANISM

The tool interacts with a cross-chain debt repayment router contract that integrates with bridge protocols and lending platforms across multiple chains. The getDebtInfo() function returns the user's total debt, collateral amount, current interest rate, and liquidation threshold for a given debt token. The getBridgeStatus() returns whether the bridge is active, the estimated transfer time, and the bridge fee. The repayDebt() function accepts chain IDs, debt token address, repayment token address, and amount. It first bridges the repayment tokens from the source chain to the destination chain (using the specified bridge protocol), then uses the bridged funds to repay the debt on the destination chain's lending protocol. The contract handles the entire sequence automatically — bridging, swapping if needed, and repayment — all in one transaction. If the repayment token differs from the debt token, the contract may also perform a swap to the debt token before repayment.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot predict cross-chain bridge delays or guarantee liquidation protection during repayment. It does not evaluate the security of the bridge protocol, the reliability of the destination chain, or the risk of price volatility during the bridge transfer. It cannot detect if the router contract is compromised or if the lending protocol's repayment function is failing. It does not provide financial advice or ensure that repaying at this time is optimal. The tool also cannot recover funds if a bridge transaction fails or is delayed — cross-chain debt repayments carry inherent risk.

This tool is EVM-only and supports Ethereum, Goerli, Sepolia, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Base. It does not support Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, or XRP. Bridge transfers take time and may be subject to delays, which could affect your debt position during the transfer. Always ensure your debt ratio remains healthy before initiating a cross-chain repayment.
