About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Cross-Chain Staking Position Mover is a DeFi tool that lets you move staking positions from one chain to another in a single atomic operation. Instead of manually unstaking, bridging tokens, and re-staking on the destination chain, this tool combines all three steps into one transaction. It reads your current staked position, staking rewards, APY/APR rates, token balances, and bridge fees, then constructs and submits the move transaction. It provides a preview of the source and destination chains, APY rates, amount, and estimated rewards before you execute, enabling efficient and transparent cross-chain staking optimization.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet via the BGWallet bridge. Enter the bridge contract address, your source staking contract address, and the destination staking contract address. Specify the token address and the amount you want to move. Enter the source and destination chain IDs. Click "Preview Move" to see the source and destination chains, APY rates, amount, estimated rewards, and estimated gas cost. Review the details carefully — consider gas costs, bridge fees, and the APY difference before deciding. Click "Move Position" to sign and broadcast the transaction. The tool provides a transaction hash for tracking and shows the move status.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool reads your staked position from the source staking contract using view functions like `getStakedBalance` or `balanceOf` for the staking token. It fetches the current APY/APR from both staking contracts using view functions like `getAPY` or `getRate`. When executing, the tool first calls the source staking contract's `unstake` or `withdraw` function to release your staked tokens, then bridges the tokens to the destination chain, and finally calls the destination staking contract's `stake` or `deposit` function. The tool encodes the transactions and submits them via the connected wallet. The entire operation is atomic — if any step fails, the transaction reverts and your position remains unchanged. The tool estimates gas using `estimateGas` and displays the estimated cost before execution.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot guarantee that the moved staking position will be profitable if gas costs, bridge fees, or staking rewards change between simulation and execution. Staking rewards are dynamic and can fluctuate rapidly. The tool also cannot predict changes to the bridge network, such as congestion or delays, that may affect the move execution time and cost. Additionally, the tool cannot verify that the destination staking protocol is secure or that the reward rate will remain competitive over time. Always monitor market conditions and consider the total cost of moving — including gas, bridge fees, and any protocol fees. This tool is an aid for staking optimization, not a guarantee that the move will be profitable.

PLEASE NOTE

EVM chains only. This tool relies on the BGWallet connector and will not function on Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, or XRP. The user is responsible for ensuring the supplied staking contract addresses are correct and that both protocols support the operations required for moving positions. Always verify the reward rates and ensure the move is cost-effective before executing.
