About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The Cross-Chain Vesting Contract Bridge Tool enables secure migration and synchronization of vesting schedules between different EVM-compatible chains. It reads comprehensive state from both source and destination vesting contracts including total vested amount, claimed amount, remaining balance, vesting start and end times, cliff period, release frequency, beneficiaries, bridge fees, cross-chain message status, relayer status, and bridge adapter state. Users can bridge vesting schedules using multiple methods: standard bridging to a new chain, transferring beneficiary rights, migrating to a new contract, or sending cross-chain vesting with custom data. The tool supports deploying new vesting contracts on destination chains, approving token spending, and tracking cross-chain transaction status.

HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet and select the source and destination networks. Paste the source vesting contract address, destination vesting contract address (or leave blank for deployment), and bridge contract address. The tool never hardcodes addresses—you specify the contracts you're vouching for. Enter the vesting schedule ID or beneficiary address, select the bridge method (bridgeVesting, transferVesting, migrateVesting, or sendCrossChainVesting), and specify the bridge fee in native currency. Optionally provide a destination beneficiary address (defaults to same), check "Approve token spending" to handle approvals automatically, or check "Deploy new vesting contract" to create a new contract on the destination chain. Click "Fetch vesting & bridge state" to read on-chain data including schedule details, bridge fee, relayer status, and cross-chain status. Review all displayed metrics, then click "Bridge vesting" to submit the transaction. Transaction status, gas costs, and confirmation are displayed upon completion.

MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE: DUAL-CHAIN STATE AGGREGATION WITH DYNAMIC METHOD SELECTION

Unlike hardcoded bridge tools that only work with specific chain pairs, this tool simultaneously aggregates state from both source and destination chains, fetching nine different data points in parallel using Promise.all with individual error boundaries. This ensures that a revert in one view function doesn't prevent retrieval of other critical metrics. The tool dynamically selects the appropriate bridge method based on user inputs—bridgeVesting for standard cross-chain transfers, transferVesting for beneficiary changes, migrateVesting for contract migration, and sendCrossChainVesting for custom data. It automatically handles approval flows when enabled, executing approval transactions before the bridge transaction. The tool supports destination contract deployment by accepting a zero address and passing deployment parameters. Gas estimation factors in both bridge fees and gas costs, and the tool uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice post-transaction for accurate cost reporting rather than relying on the pre-EIP-1559 gasPrice cap. Relayer and cross-chain status tracking provides visibility into bridge processing.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the vesting contracts or bridge contracts are legitimate or have not been compromised. It cannot detect if the bridge oracle or relayer has been manipulated or if the contracts have been upgraded or modified. Bridging may not execute at optimal gas price due to network conditions or succeed if the bridge is paused or frozen. The tool cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that vesting parameters are valid across chains, predict gas prices during congestion, or detect if the bridge message has been delayed or front-run. The tool cannot ensure that cross-chain state sync is accurate beyond what the bridge reports, cannot verify off-chain bridge infrastructure security, and cannot provide legal or tax advice. It cannot guarantee finality across chains or protect against bridge exploits. Cross-chain transactions may take significant time to finalize.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool operates on EVM-compatible chains only. It reads and writes to vesting and bridge contracts but provides no financial, legal, or tax advice. All bridging decisions remain your responsibility. Always verify contract addresses, schedule IDs, and parameters before submitting transactions. The tool displays current state but does not automatically bridge—you must review and confirm each transaction through your wallet. Gas costs vary by network conditions; the tool estimates but cannot guarantee optimal pricing. Cross-chain transactions involve bridge fees in addition to gas costs. Bridge security is dependent on the underlying bridge infrastructure—use trusted bridges and verify contract addresses carefully.
