It reads veToken balances, lock durations, voting power snapshots, bridge contract state, destination chain veToken state, user lock history, and gauge weights. The tool supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Base, providing a unified interface to bridge, extend, and manage veToken positions across chains. This is essential for DeFi governance participants, yield farmers, and DAO members who need to maintain their voting power and lock benefits across multiple networks.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using WalletConnect or a compatible browser extension. Ensure your wallet is on the source chain where your veToken position is locked. Select the source and destination chains from the dropdown menus. Enter the veToken bridge contract address and the veToken contract address—these are the contracts you are interacting with, and you are vouching for their safety. Optionally, enter a lock ID if you have multiple positions. Click "Check veToken state" to read your current veToken balance, lock duration, lock expiry, and voting power from the source chain. The tool also checks whether your position has already been bridged to the destination. Based on the state, action buttons appear: "Bridge veToken" transfers your position to the destination chain, while "Extend lock" increases the lock duration on the current chain. Click an action button to submit the corresponding transaction. The tool displays a transaction link to your chain's block explorer and logs the final gas cost using receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate post-EIP-1559 fee tracking.

ADAPTIVE VETOKEN POSITION MIGRATION AND SYNCHRONIZATION ENGINE

The core technical mechanism that distinguishes this tool is its adaptive veToken position migration and synchronization engine. Unlike naive bridge implementations that just transfer token balances, this tool preserves the full veToken position state across chains. The engine first reads the source veToken contract's locked() mapping to extract the user's lock amount and unlock timestamp. It then calculates the remaining lock duration and voting power using the contract's votingPower() view, which accounts for the lock amount, remaining time, and any boost multipliers. The engine verifies that the lock is still active (unlock timestamp > current block time) before allowing a bridge. When bridging, the tool calls the bridge contract's bridgeVeToken() function, which burns the source veToken position and mints an equivalent position on the destination chain with the same lock parameters. The engine also supports lock extension via extendLock(), which increases the lock duration on either chain. The tool implements automatic state reconciliation by checking the destination chain's veToken state via the bridge contract's getBridgedPosition() view, ensuring that users can see their position status across chains. All RPC calls are wrapped with timeout and retry logic, and the tool automatically falls back to a secondary provider if the primary endpoint fails or rate-limits, ensuring position checks complete even during network congestion.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot guarantee that veToken voting power will be preserved across chains if the bridge network fails, the lock duration is not properly synchronized, the destination chain's veToken contract changes its calculation logic, or the voting snapshot occurs before the bridge transaction is confirmed. It has no visibility into off-chain bridge relayer status, operator interventions, or governance changes that occur after the bridge transaction is submitted. The tool cannot predict the exact confirmation time on destination chains, nor can it detect mempool congestion beyond standard gas price estimates. It does not monitor veToken positions after bridging—it is a bridge tool, not a continuous position tracking service. The tool cannot interact with non-EVM chains, private networks, or veToken contracts that do not implement the standard locked() interface it expects. It also cannot recover funds if you bridge to an incorrect address or extend a lock that has already expired.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is designed exclusively for EVM-compatible blockchain networks. It supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Base, and similar chains. Non-EVM networks such as Solana, Cosmos, or Bitcoin are not supported. Always verify the bridge contract address, veToken contract address, and lock status before bridging—the tool does not validate contract safety or lock terms beyond basic verification. The tool provides estimates only—actual fees and gas costs are determined at the time of transaction execution. Users are responsible for understanding veToken risks, including bridge downtime, lock expiration, and potential voting power dilution.
