This is essential for security teams coordinating incident response, project managers tracking team readiness, and stakeholders monitoring emergency response preparedness.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet (read-only, no transaction required) and select the target network. Enter the incident name, affected contract address, and a comma-separated list of team contract addresses, and set the lookback blocks for incident analysis. Click "coordinate incident response" and the tool will verify the affected contract, analyze team contract states and incident response readiness, and generate a comprehensive incident response report. Results display a summary with team readiness counts and overall response percentage, detailed incident response cards showing each team's status, response time, verification status, and a table of all teams with their statuses and response times. Use the report to coordinate incident response, identify team readiness gaps, and ensure rapid emergency response.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The coordinator uses ethers.js v5.7.2 to perform a multi-stage incident response analysis. First, it calls eth_getCode to verify the affected contract is deployed and uses block explorer APIs to fetch verification status and source code. The tool then scans historical logs using eth_getLogs across the specified block range to identify incident events (e.g., Paused, Unpaused, EmergencyStopped, EmergencyRestarted), incident response actions, and team coordination events. It queries the contract state via eth_call to retrieve current team ownership, multisig configuration, and emergency responder information. For each team contract, the tool determines response status: ready (if the team is verified and available), responding (if the team is currently engaged in incident response), or pending (if the team is not yet ready). The tool also estimates response time based on historical incident response patterns. The overall response readiness percentage is calculated based on the number of teams in ready status versus total teams. Results are compiled into a structured report with detailed team information, status indicators, and incident response metrics.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot actually execute incident response actions or trigger emergency protocols—it performs coordination and analysis only. It is limited by the RPC provider's rate limits and block range availability for historical log queries. It cannot predict incident severity or team response times—the tool provides analysis based on on-chain data and historical patterns, but actual response times depend on team availability and incident complexity. The analysis relies on the accuracy and completeness of contract verification and incident event data; incomplete logs or unverified contracts may produce incomplete results. It cannot analyze contracts that are not verified or have opaque incident response mechanisms where events are not emitted. The tool is limited to the specific contract instances and incident events that are accessible via RPC. It cannot guarantee that generated coordination plans reflect actual response timelines without manual review and team input—the tool provides a structured view based on available data, but the actual incident response depends on team coordination and real-time decision-making.
