It identifies the campaign context, progress details, milestones achieved, and backer sentiment, then generates a well-structured update that summarizes progress since the last update, highlights key milestones achieved, and outlines the next steps or timeline for backers. You can choose between a concise or detailed style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your campaign update platform.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying crowdfunding campaign descriptions, project updates, backer comments, or similar campaign content. Common sources include Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and other crowdfunding platforms.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a crowdfunding campaign description, project updates, or backer comments. Open the BotGentz extension and select Crowdfunding Update Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter a progress summary, key milestones achieved, and the next steps or timeline. Optionally, enter the campaign title. Select your preferred style (concise or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Update" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant campaign context and sends it along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, engaging update message in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your campaign platform.

TECHNICAL SECTION — CAMPAIGN AND BACKER CONTEXT EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on crowdfunding and campaign communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing campaign indicators such as "campaign," "crowdfunding," "backer," "update," "progress," "milestone," "goal," "funding," "timeline," "comment," and "pledge." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the campaign data and surrounding structural markers (campaign titles, funding amounts, backer counts, update dates). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a campaign context using features like campaign language frequency ("campaign," "backer," "pledge," "funding"), progress markers, and backer indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into three core categories: the campaign description and context, the progress and milestones, and the backer comments and sentiment. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, progress, milestones, next steps, campaign title, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a clear, engaging update message with standardized sections (greeting, progress summary, milestone highlights, next steps, and appreciation), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated campaign updates are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before publishing, as interpretations may occasionally miss campaign nuances or misread backer sentiment. Websites change their campaign page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
