About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Crypto News Aggregator lets you aggregate crypto news from multiple RSS feeds into a single, unified feed. You provide RSS feed URLs (e.g., Cointelegraph, CryptoPotato, Decrypt), optionally filter by keywords (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi), and set the maximum number of articles per source. The tool fetches and displays the latest articles with titles, publication dates, sources, and summaries. This is essential for traders, investors, and enthusiasts who want to stay updated on crypto news without visiting multiple websites. It reads the current network chain ID from your wallet provider for context, but all news fetching is done via external RSS APIs.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the "Connect" button (required for network context). Select the target network (Ethereum Mainnet, Sepolia, Polygon, BSC, Arbitrum, Optimism, and testnets are supported). Enter RSS feed URLs (one per line) in the text area. Optionally, add comma-separated keywords to filter articles. Set the max articles per source. Click "Fetch news" — the tool will retrieve articles from all feeds, filter them, and display them in a clean feed. The entire operation is read-only — no transactions are signed or sent.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses the rss2json API to convert RSS feeds to JSON format. It fetches each feed URL in parallel, then parses the response to extract article titles, links, publication dates, and descriptions. Articles are filtered by keywords (if provided) by checking both the title and description. Articles are sorted by publication date (newest first) and limited to the configured maximum. The tool uses ethers.js v5.7.2 for network context but does not make any on-chain calls. All news fetching is done via external APIs.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of news from external sources. It cannot filter news for sentiment or relevance without additional NLP processing. It is limited by the availability and reliability of external APIs and RSS feeds. It cannot detect on-chain events or transactions — only external news. It cannot aggregate news from sources that do not provide RSS feeds. It cannot translate or summarize articles beyond the provided descriptions.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is for educational and analytical purposes. The tool does not persist any data; all state is lost on page reload. EVM chains only.
