It identifies the available data types, export instructions, and any format or delivery options mentioned, then generates a well-structured request that specifies the type of data being requested (such as account data, activity logs, or purchase history), the preferred format (such as CSV, JSON, or PDF), and the preferred delivery method (such as email or download link). You can choose between a formal or direct style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or support request form.

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying privacy notices, data export instructions, account settings, or similar privacy-related content. Common sources include company privacy portals, account management pages, and legal notice pages.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a privacy notice, data export instructions, or account settings. Open the BotGentz extension and select Data Export Request Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Select the type of data you want to export (all data, account data, activity logs, purchase history, communications, or custom). Optionally, enter a custom data type. Select your preferred format (CSV, JSON, PDF, XML, or any) and delivery method (email, download link, or any). Select your preferred style (formal or direct) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Request" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant privacy or export details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, professional data export request in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — PRIVACY NOTICE AND EXPORT INSTRUCTION EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on privacy and data export communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing export indicators such as "data export," "privacy notice," "download," "export," "format," "CSV," "JSON," "PDF," "delivery," "account," "settings," and "personal data." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the export data and surrounding structural markers (data type listings, format options, delivery instructions). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a data export context using features like privacy language frequency ("export," "data," "format," "download," "delivery"), format markers, and delivery indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into three core categories: the types of data available, the export format options, and the delivery methods. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, data type, custom data, format, delivery, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete data export request with standardized sections (request type, format preference, delivery method, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated data export requests are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss privacy notice details or misread export instructions. Websites change their privacy page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
