You can choose between a formal or direct style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or data request form.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying data request forms, privacy notices, data access instructions, or similar privacy-related content. Common sources include company privacy portals, data protection pages, and legal notice pages.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a data request form, privacy notice, or data access instructions. Open the BotGentz extension and select Data Request Form Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name, email address, and optionally your account or user ID in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Select the type of data request (access, deletion, correction, or portability) from the dropdown menu. Optionally, enter the legal basis or purpose for your request. Select your preferred style (formal or direct) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Request" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant data request instructions and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, professional data request submission in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client or request form.

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on data privacy and request communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing data request indicators such as "data request," "privacy notice," "data access," "deletion," "correction," "portability," "DSAR," "subject access request," "identity verification," "legal basis," and "purpose." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the request data and surrounding structural markers (request type options, verification instructions, legal basis explanations). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a data request context using features like privacy language frequency ("data," "request," "access," "delete," "correct," "port"), request type markers, and legal basis indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into three core categories: the request types available, identity verification requirements, and the legal basis or purpose. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, user ID, request type, legal basis, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete data request submission with standardized sections (request type, identity verification, legal basis, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated data request submissions are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss privacy notice details or misread request instructions. Websites change their data request page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email, user ID) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
