WHAT IT DOES

AI-powered dating message opener drafter that creates personalized, engaging opening messages based on dating profiles. The script reads a dating profile or user information from the current page—bio, interests, photos, prompts, answers, and profile details—and generates a draft opening message to send to that person. The AI produces a personalized opener that references specific details from their profile and encourages a response. You can customize the opener style (casual/witty/thoughtful/flirty), length, and toggle inclusion of questions, compliments, and references to common interests. The user reviews the output before copying or using it.

WHERE IT RUNS

Works on all dating profile pages (match pattern *://*/*), including dating apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Match, and any page containing user profile information. Also works on social media profiles and interest-based pages.

HOW TO USE

Install the script and the Dating Message Opener Drafter appears in the panel. Configure your preferred style, length, and toggle inclusion of questions, compliments, and common interest references using the settings controls. Click "Draft Opener" to analyze the current page. The AI extracts profile information and generates a personalized opening message. Review the output in the panel. Click "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the opener for use in the dating app. Adjust the settings and regenerate if you want a different style or level of detail.

REAL MECHANISM: DOM CONTENT EXTRACTION WITH AI OPENER DRAFTING AND REVIEW GATE

This script uses a hybrid extraction approach that prioritizes structured content when available. First, it checks for WebMCP (navigator.modelContext), a W3C proposal that exposes structured tools on the page. If available, it calls getContent() to obtain structured profile data. If WebMCP is not present—the common case today—it falls back to DOM scraping using targeted selectors for dating profile sections (profile-bio, user-profile, profile-details, bio-content, profile-prompts, profile-answers, user-interests, profile-text, about-me, and user-description). It also scans for profile-related keywords (about, bio, interest, like, love, enjoy, passion, hobby, fan, enthusiast, into, favorite) in paragraphs, list items, and headings. The extracted text is sent to an AI backend via GM_xmlhttpRequest, which processes it with a system prompt that includes the user's style preference, length, and inclusion preferences. The AI returns a personalized opening message (60-150 words depending on the selected length) that references specific details from the profile and encourages a response. The response is displayed in a bordered container for review before copying. Copy-to-clipboard uses GM_setClipboard. All settings (openerStyle, length, includeQuestion, includeCompliment, includeCommonInterest) are persisted via GM_setValue. The script enforces a review-before-use pattern: the user must read and approve the AI output before copying it.

THE PANEL

Drag the panel anywhere on screen by clicking and holding the header. It snaps to screen edges when released. Collapse it to a small bubble by clicking the minimize button, and expand it back by clicking the bubble. Resize the panel from any corner. Press Escape to close the configuration panel. Your position and size preferences are saved automatically per site.

AI-generated openers should be reviewed for authenticity before use—the AI may generate content that doesn't reflect your voice or style. The script reads the current page content and sends it to the AI backend for processing; no data is stored or logged. Websites change frequently; if the script stops detecting profile content, check for updates to the extraction selectors.
