About this app

WHAT IT DOES

AI-powered dating profile photo caption suggester that creates engaging, authentic caption options based on photo context and your personal style. The script reads image context, alt text, or surrounding page content from the current page—photo descriptions, location tags, and activity context—and generates suggested captions for dating profile photos. The AI produces a set of engaging caption options that match the photo's tone and could spark conversation. You can customize the caption style (casual/witty/thoughtful/flirty), number of suggestions (3/5/7), and toggle inclusion of questions, emojis, and context references. The user reviews the output before copying or using it.

WHERE IT RUNS

Works on all photo and image pages (match pattern *://*/*), including photo hosting sites, social media photos, dating app photo upload pages, Instagram, and any page containing images with descriptive context. Also works on travel photos, activity shots, and personal photo albums.

HOW TO USE

Install the script and the Dating Profile Photo Caption Suggester appears in the panel. Configure your preferred caption style, number of suggestions, and toggle inclusion of questions, emojis, and context references using the settings controls. Click "Suggest" to analyze the current page. The AI extracts photo context and generates caption options. Review the output in the panel. Click "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the captions for use on your dating profile. Adjust the settings and regenerate if you want a different style or number of options.

REAL MECHANISM: DOM CONTENT EXTRACTION WITH AI CAPTION SUGGESTION AND REVIEW GATE

This script uses a hybrid extraction approach that prioritizes structured content when available. First, it checks for WebMCP (navigator.modelContext), a W3C proposal that exposes structured tools on the page. If available, it calls getContent() to obtain structured photo data. If WebMCP is not present—the common case today—it falls back to DOM scraping using targeted selectors for image context: it extracts alt attributes and title attributes from img elements, and scans for context selectors (photo-context, image-context, location-tag, photo-description, activity-name, place-name, caption-context). It also looks for activity/context keywords (location, place, where, activity, doing, hiking, beach, travel, restaurant, park, museum) in paragraphs and headings. The extracted text is sent to an AI backend via GM_xmlhttpRequest, which processes it with a system prompt that includes the user's style preference, suggestion count, and inclusion preferences. The AI returns a set of caption options (3-7 depending on the selected count, up to 250 words total) that are engaging, authentic, and match the photo's tone. The response is displayed in a bordered container for review before copying. Copy-to-clipboard uses GM_setClipboard. All settings (captionStyle, suggestionCount, includeQuestions, includeEmojis, includeContext) are persisted via GM_setValue. The script enforces a review-before-use pattern: the user must read and approve the AI output before copying it.

THE PANEL

Drag the panel anywhere on screen by clicking and holding the header. It snaps to screen edges when released. Collapse it to a small bubble by clicking the minimize button, and expand it back by clicking the bubble. Resize the panel from any corner. Press Escape to close the configuration panel. Your position and size preferences are saved automatically per site.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz browser extension and an active AI subscription for the suggestion service. AI-generated captions should be reviewed for authenticity before use—the AI may generate content that doesn't accurately represent the photo or your style. The script reads the current page content and sends it to the AI backend for processing; no data is stored or logged. Websites change frequently; if the script stops detecting photo context, check for updates to the extraction selectors.
