The Deprecated Pool Exit Tool enables users to safely withdraw funds from deprecated, abandoned, or compromised liquidity pools. When pools become deprecated—whether due to protocol upgrades, reduced liquidity, security incidents, or protocol shutdowns—users need a reliable way to recover their funds. This tool provides both standard withdrawal and emergency withdrawal options, along with automated reward claiming to ensure users receive all owed tokens before exiting.

The tool reads pool state, user liquidity positions, token balances, current prices, withdrawal parameters, pool status, withdrawal fees, pending rewards, and claim status. It identifies the user's position in the pool and calculates what can be withdrawn. The tool supports configurable withdrawal amounts, reward claiming preferences, and standard vs. emergency withdrawal modes. Emergency mode is designed for situations where the pool may have reduced functionality or security risks, bypassing certain checks to maximize fund recovery.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your wallet using the Connect button. The tool automatically detects your connected address and network.

2. Select the network where your pool is located using the network dropdown.

3. Enter the pool contract address, the position ID or LP token ID, and the token address you want to receive.

4. Set the withdrawal amount (enter 0 for all funds) and choose whether to claim pending rewards first.

5. Select Standard or Emergency mode based on the pool's status.

6. Configure your slippage tolerance percentage for any swaps involved in the exit.

7. Click "Preview exit" to see what will be withdrawn and any pending rewards.

8. Review the exit details in the preview panel.

9. Click "Exit Pool" to submit the exit transaction through your wallet.

10. The tool will handle reward claiming (if selected) and withdrawal of funds.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool interacts with the pool contract's withdrawal functions. First, it reads the user's liquidity position and pending rewards from the pool contract. If the user has selected reward claiming, the tool calls the claim function before withdrawal. For standard withdrawals, the tool calls the pool's standard withdrawal function (exitPool or withdrawLiquidity) with the specified amount. For emergency withdrawals, the tool calls emergencyWithdraw or similar functions that may bypass certain checks but may also incur penalties or reduced returns. The tool verifies the user's balance before executing the withdrawal and handles any approvals required for token transfers. The entire process is orchestrated to maximize fund recovery and minimize gas costs.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the price feed is accurate or reliable; it relies on the pool's internal pricing. It cannot detect if the oracle has been compromised or manipulated. It cannot ensure that exit will execute at the optimal price due to slippage, market volatility, and block timing. It cannot guarantee that all funds will be recoverable if the pool has been drained or if the contract has been compromised. It cannot verify that the pool contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the swap path is optimal or if the transaction is being front-run by malicious actors. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs, insufficient approvals, out-of-gas errors, or blockchain reorgs. It cannot verify that tokens being withdrawn are legitimate or not honeypot contracts. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes that may affect exit value. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion, high gas prices, or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying protocol has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying exit parameters through other interfaces. It cannot ensure that emergency withdrawal will bypass all security checks or that funds remain accessible in the pool. It cannot guarantee that rewards will be fully claimed before exit if the reward contract has issues.
