About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Domain Auction Bid Tracker watches the current ENS domain auction page for the domain name, reads the current highest bid and the user's bid status from the ENS registry contract on-chain, tracks bid amounts and changes over time, calculates the difference between the user's bid and the current highest bid, and displays alerts with bid status, position, and recommendations when the user is outbid or when the auction is approaching expiration. The tool extracts the domain name from the page URL, reads the current highest bid and the user's bid from the ENS registry contract, calculates the remaining time until auction expiration, compares the user's bid against the current highest bid to determine if the user is winning or outbid, tracks bid changes over time to detect new activity, and triggers alerts with bid status updates and recommendations.

WHERE IT RUNS

The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on ENS domain pages at https://app.ens.domains/*. It works on any ENS domain auction page where bid details are displayed. The tool connects to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call and the ethers library loaded at runtime. No data is sent to any external server; all reads happen directly from the blockchain through your wallet provider.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any ENS domain auction page, and open the Domain Auction Bid Tracker panel. Select your tracking interval from the dropdown — 15, 30, 60, or 120 seconds. Set your maximum acceptable gas price in Gwei (default 50). Choose your alert preference — Panel only, Browser notification, or Both. Toggle "Auto-track on page load" if you want the tool to analyze automatically when you open the panel. Click "Track Bids" — the tool detects the domain name from the page URL, reads the current highest bid and the user's bid from the ENS registry, calculates the remaining time, compares the user's bid against the current highest bid, and displays a comprehensive analysis with bid status, position, and recommendations. When the user is outbid or the auction is approaching expiration, the tool triggers alerts with the updated bid status and recommendations. The bid tracker updates automatically at your chosen interval. Click "Refresh" to manually update the bid status.

MECHANISM — ENS BID TRACKING WITH STATUS COMPARISON AND CHANGE DETECTION

This tool uses an ENS bid tracking engine that reads auction data from the ENS registry contract and monitors bid changes. The system first extracts the domain name from the page URL using pattern matching on the ENS app's URL structure. It connects to window.ethereum and reads the current highest bid and the user's bid from the ENS registry contract via the entries function. The tool tracks the current highest bid over time, detecting changes by comparing the current bid against the previous stored value. It calculates the difference between the user's bid and the current highest bid to determine the user's position in the auction. The status classification uses a simple comparison: WINNING if user_bid ≥ highest_bid, otherwise OUTBID. Recommendations are generated based on the user's position: if outbid, the tool suggests a bid increase; if winning but near expiration, it recommends monitoring closely. This approach ensures users receive timely notifications about their bid status and can take action to secure their desired domain names.

THE PANEL

The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the ENS interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit the ENS app. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your domain bidding workflow.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (such as MetaMask) already installed in your browser. EVM chains only — currently supports Ethereum mainnet. This is a monitoring and alert tool only — it does not execute bid transactions automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the current highest bid remains stable at execution time. It cannot guarantee that the auction status (reveal vs. bid phase) is correctly detected. It cannot read sealed bids or predict competitor behavior. It cannot account for gas price spikes that may affect bid confirmation. It cannot verify the domain availability if already registered. It cannot read private wallet information or bidding intentions. All blockchain reads are performed directly through your wallet provider; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser. Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. Always verify all auction details, bid amounts, and domain availability independently before executing any transactions.
