About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This userscript adds real-time peak pay monitoring to your DoorDash Dasher dashboard. It reads peak pay and promotion data from the page—extracting active peak pay amounts, promotion zones, time windows, and required acceptance rates—and displays a color-coded peak pay alert badge. The badge shows the current peak pay amount with a status indicator: green for high pay (>$5), yellow for medium ($3-5), orange for low ($1-3), and red for no active peak pay. A countdown timer shows when promotions are about to expire, helping you prioritize your time. A summary lists all active peak pay opportunities with their zones, amounts, and remaining time. A one-click button opens the promotions page for quick access. Desktop notifications alert you when new peak pay becomes available or when a promotion is expiring. This is invaluable for DoorDash drivers, gig workers, and delivery professionals who need to maximize their earnings by taking advantage of peak pay opportunities.

WHERE IT RUNS

The script runs on all DoorDash web application pages at *.doordash.com/*, with automatic detection of the Dasher dashboard, promotions pages, and any page displaying peak pay information. It works across all DoorDash interfaces by using multiple selector strategies to find peak pay items, promotion amounts, zones, time windows, and acceptance rates. The script detects dynamic content loading and re-renders the peak pay alert when the dashboard updates. It runs across the entire DoorDash domain, ensuring coverage whether you're viewing the main Dasher dashboard, a specific promotions page, or a filtered view.

HOW TO USE

Install the script via the BotGentz extension and navigate to your DoorDash Dasher dashboard. The peak pay alert badge will appear automatically, showing the current peak pay amount and status. The badge displays active promotions with their zones, amounts, and countdown timers for expiring promotions. A warning section highlights promotions that are about to expire. The summary list shows all active peak pay opportunities. Use the panel controls to customize your experience: toggle peak pay alerts on or off, enable or disable countdown timers, turn notifications for new peak pay on or off, show or hide promotion zone details, or adjust the notification threshold amount. The "Refresh" button manually updates the data, and the "Promotions" button opens the promotions page in a new tab. Notifications are sent when peak pay exceeds your configured threshold.

THE MECHANISM - PEAK PAY EXTRACTION, EXPIRY DETECTION, AND NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

This script identifies peak pay data by scanning the DOM for known DoorDash promotion elements using a cascading selector strategy. It extracts amounts from amount or bonus elements, zones from zone or area elements, time windows from time or window elements, and acceptance rates from rate elements. Expiration times are parsed from time windows by extracting the end time and calculating the remaining minutes. The color category is determined by the peak pay amount using user-configurable thresholds. The badge is built as a DOM element with inline styles and inserted into the dashboard header. The countdown timer updates every 30 seconds to show accurate time remaining. Desktop notifications are triggered when peak pay exceeds the threshold and are stored with a flag to prevent duplicate alerts. The promotions page link is located by scanning for promotion anchors.

THE PANEL

The control panel appears as a floating, draggable element that you can position anywhere on the DoorDash page. Drag by the header to reposition it, and the position is saved per site using GM_setValue so it stays where you left it across sessions. Release the panel near any edge and it snaps into place, keeping your workspace organized. Click the panel header to collapse it into a small bubble showing only the money emoji (💰), minimizing distraction while keeping controls accessible. Drag from the bubble to restore the full panel. The panel automatically resizes to fit its content and includes all setting toggles, threshold controls, action buttons, and a peak pay legend. Press the Escape key to quickly collapse the panel to its minimized state. The panel remains visible across page navigation within DoorDash, with the peak pay alert updating automatically as you move between dashboard views.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to function. It is designed for DoorDash Dashers who need to monitor peak pay opportunities and maximize earnings. The script reads only visible peak pay data from the DOM—it does not access DoorDash's API, your account credentials, or any sensitive information. All settings (alert visibility, countdown toggle, notification toggle, zone details toggle, threshold value, and panel position) are stored locally using GM_setValue and never leave your browser. The script does not modify your DoorDash data—it only reads and visualizes visible peak pay information. The countdown timer estimates expiration based on time window parsing; actual expiration times may vary. Notifications require browser permission and are sent only when peak pay exceeds the configured threshold. If DoorDash updates its website structure, the script may need to be updated to match new selectors.
