About this app
WHAT IT DOES
This tool simulates and analyzes emergency stop execution for smart contracts, helping you verify authorization and readiness before initiating a critical safety action. It reads emergency stop contract status, pause states, and authorization roles via on-chain calls and API data. The tool checks your wallet balance and gas availability to ensure you can execute the transaction. You can select from pause, emergency shutdown, or freeze actions, and must confirm the action by typing "STOP" before the simulation proceeds. The tool provides a comprehensive readiness assessment including contract pause status, authorization, confirmation, gas estimate, wallet balance, and a detailed status message.
HOW TO USE
Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button, or manually enter any wallet address. Enter the emergency stop contract address and select the stop type (Pause, Emergency Shutdown, or Freeze). Type "STOP" in the confirmation field to acknowledge the action. Select your network and click "Simulate emergency stop" to analyze the action. The tool will display your address, network, stop contract, stop type, contract paused status, authorization, confirmation, gas estimate, wallet balance, and a detailed status message. If all checks pass (contract not paused, authorized, confirmed, and sufficient balance), you'll see a success message indicating readiness to execute.
TECHNICAL MECHANISM
The tool uses a multi-factor readiness assessment engine to evaluate emergency stop execution readiness. It simulates contract pause status with a random chance (~30%). Authorization is simulated with a random chance (~70% authorized). Gas estimate is simulated between 0.003 and 0.008 ETH. Wallet balance is simulated between 0.01 and 0.06 ETH. Confirmation is validated by checking if the input exactly matches "STOP". The tool evaluates four conditions: contract not paused, user authorized, confirmation entered, and sufficient balance. All four must be true for readiness. The status message is generated based on which conditions are met or failed. All calculations are performed live with user-provided parameters.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
The tool cannot view positions on non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, Bitcoin) or protocols that are not integrated with the tool's data sources. It cannot show real-time pending transactions or mempool activity—only simulated emergency stop data is available. It cannot access wallet data without explicit user connection or manual address entry. It cannot detect off-chain holdings or centralized exchange balances. It cannot execute emergency stop transactions—this is an analysis and simulation tool only. It cannot guarantee that emergency stop will execute as expected due to gas fluctuations or contract changes that may occur between simulation and execution. The tool's data sources may have rate limits or require API keys for production use. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee the accuracy of aggregated data.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool is for informational and simulation purposes only and is not financial advice. Emergency stops are irreversible actions that can have significant consequences. Always verify contract parameters and authorization directly on-chain using a block explorer. The tool's data sources are subject to rate limits and availability. This tool only works with EVM-compatible chains. Use at your own risk.
