About this app

WHAT IT DOES ENS Domain Auction Sniper watches the current ENS domain auction page for the domain name being auctioned, reads the current highest bid and auction end time from the ENS registry contract on-chain, monitors the auction countdown in real time, calculates the optimal bid amount based on current bid, user's max bid, and gas costs, and displays an alert with recommended bid and timing when the auction approaches expiration. The tool extracts the domain name from the page URL, reads the current highest bid and auction end timestamp from the ENS registry contract, calculates the remaining time until auction expiration, estimates the optimal bid amount (current bid plus a configurable percentage, capped at the user's maximum bid), accounts for gas costs and network conditions, and triggers alerts when the auction enters the final minutes to help users secure their desired domain names. WHERE IT RUNS The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on ENS domain pages at https://app.ens.domains/*. It works on any ENS domain page where auction details are displayed, including the name page and auction page. The tool connects to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call and the ethers library loaded at runtime. No data is sent to any external server; all reads happen directly from the blockchain through your wallet provider. HOW TO USE Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any ENS domain auction page, and open the ENS Domain Auction Sniper panel. Set your maximum bid amount in ETH (default 1.0) — the tool will never recommend a bid higher than this value. Set your bid increase percentage (default 5%) — the tool will recommend a bid that is this percentage above the current highest bid. Set your maximum acceptable gas price in Gwei (default 50). Toggle "Auto-check on page load" if you want the tool to analyze automatically when you open the panel. Click "Monitor Auction" — the tool detects the domain name from the page URL, reads the current highest bid and auction end time from the ENS registry, calculates the remaining time, determines the optimal bid amount based on your settings, and displays a comprehensive analysis with a live countdown timer. When the auction enters the final minutes, the tool triggers alerts with the remaining time and recommended bid. The countdown updates automatically every 5 seconds. Click "Refresh" to manually update the auction status. MECHANISM — ENS AUCTION MONITORING WITH OPTIMAL BID CALCULATION This tool uses an ENS auction monitoring engine that reads auction data directly from the ENS registry contract. The system first extracts the domain name from the page URL using pattern matching on the ENS app's URL structure. It reads the current highest bid and auction end timestamp from the ENS registry contract's entries function, which stores the current bid amount and the auction's end time. The tool then calculates the remaining time by comparing the auction end timestamp against the current block timestamp. The optimal bid amount is calculated using a configurable formula: recommendedBid = min(currentBid * (1 + increasePct / 100), maxBidEth). The tool also accounts for gas costs, subtracting the estimated gas cost from the available balance to ensure the user can afford both the bid and the transaction. Alerts are triggered based on the remaining time: Critical (
