About this app

WHAT IT DOES

ENS Subdomain Claim Tool watches the current ENS domain page for the domain name, reads the domain's registration status and owner from the ENS registry contract on-chain, checks if the user is the owner of the parent domain, lists available subdomains under the parent domain, calculates the cost to claim each subdomain, and displays recommendations with subdomain suggestions, estimated costs, and availability status when the user is eligible to claim subdomains. The tool extracts the domain name from the page URL, checks the domain's owner from the ENS registry contract, determines if the user is the domain owner, generates subdomain suggestions based on user preferences, estimates the claim cost including gas fees, and provides recommendations on which subdomains to claim and their total cost.

WHERE IT RUNS

The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on ENS domain pages at https://app.ens.domains/*. It works on any ENS domain page where the domain name is displayed. The tool connects to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call and the ethers library loaded at runtime. No data is sent to any external server; all reads happen directly from the blockchain through your wallet provider.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any ENS domain page, and open the ENS Subdomain Claim Tool panel. Set your subdomain name prefix (optional) — the tool will generate suggestions starting with this prefix. Set your maximum subdomain length (default 20) — the tool will only suggest subdomains within this character limit. Set the number of subdomain suggestions to generate (default 5). Set your maximum acceptable gas price in Gwei (default 50). Toggle "Auto-check on page load" if you want the tool to analyze automatically when you open the panel. Click "Check Subdomains" — the tool detects the domain name from the page URL, checks the domain's owner from the ENS registry, determines if you are the owner, generates subdomain suggestions based on your preferences, estimates the claim cost per subdomain, and displays a complete analysis with subdomain availability and total cost. Review the output and use the recommendations for manual execution through the ENS interface.

MECHANISM — ENS SUBDOMAIN AVAILABILITY AND COST ESTIMATION

This tool uses an ENS subdomain analysis engine that generates and evaluates subdomain claims. The system first extracts the domain name from the page URL using pattern matching on the ENS app's URL structure. It connects to window.ethereum and reads the domain's owner from the ENS registry contract via the owner function. The tool checks if the user is the domain owner by comparing the contract owner address against the user's wallet address. It generates subdomain suggestions using a curated list of common Web3 terms (vault, wallet, swap, defi, nft, dao, etc.) and applies user filters (prefix, max length). The cost per subdomain is estimated as 0.001 ETH plus a gas component based on current gas prices. The tool calculates the total cost for all suggestions and compares it against the user's ETH balance to determine if the user has sufficient funds. Recommendations are generated based on ownership status and balance sufficiency.

THE PANEL

The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the ENS interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit the ENS app. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your domain management workflow.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (such as MetaMask) already installed in your browser. EVM chains only — currently supports Ethereum mainnet. This is a monitoring and analysis tool only — it does not execute subdomain claim transactions automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the user is the owner of the parent domain. It cannot verify the user's permission to create subdomains if the resolver has custom logic. It cannot account for gas price spikes that may affect claim cost. It cannot detect subdomains already claimed by other users without checking on-chain. It cannot read private wallet information or claiming intentions. It cannot guarantee that the suggested subdomain is actually available at the time of claim. All blockchain reads are performed directly through your wallet provider; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser. Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. Always verify all domain ownership, subdomain availability, and claim costs independently before executing any transactions.
