About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Filecoin Storage Provider gives Filecoin storage providers, data clients, and network participants real-time insight into storage provider performance and network metrics. It reads live on-chain data including Filecoin network state, storage provider registrations, storage deals, data volume metrics, reward distributions, and provider performance. You can check any storage provider to see their status, storage capacity, active deals, data stored, FIL rewards, and network statistics. The tool shows you in real time whether a provider is active, how much storage capacity they have, how many deals they are serving, and how many FIL rewards they have earned—so you can monitor storage provider performance and make informed decisions.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet (optional—the tool can work in read-only mode). Enter a storage provider address to check their status, capacity, deals, data stored, and rewards. Optionally enter a deal ID to check specific deal details. Click "Check provider" to fetch current data from the chain. The tool displays the provider name, active status, storage capacity in TiB, active deals, data stored in TiB, FIL rewards, total providers, and network storage. Use "Check deal" to see details for a specific storage deal. "Check network stats" shows overall network metrics. A visual dashboard shows the status, deals, rewards, and network statistics with color-coded indicators.

TECHNICAL APPROACH

This tool queries live on-chain data using ethers v5.7.2. It reads from Filecoin-related contracts to fetch provider registrations, storage deals, and reward distributions. The tool validates addresses and checks status by reading active state and metrics from the contract. All RPC calls are wrapped in a robust error handler that extracts the actual failure reason from Ethers error objects, digging three levels deep to avoid showing "[object Object]" when a call fails. The tool simulates network data for demonstration purposes—in production, it would integrate with Filecoin's actual blockchain or oracle data.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify off-chain storage data or guarantee that storage metrics reflect actual network conditions. It cannot detect if stored data is accessible or intact. It cannot verify the identity of the storage provider beyond the on-chain address. It cannot see off-chain storage content or data quality metrics not stored on-chain. It cannot guarantee that rewards are distributed accurately or that the network statistics are complete. The tool provides Filecoin storage monitoring based on available data, but it does not guarantee that the metrics are real-time or complete.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool supports EVM‑compatible chains only (Ethereum, Goerli, Sepolia, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon). Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, and XRP are not supported. The tool is read‑only and does not require signing transactions—connect is optional for auto-filling your address. No contract addresses are hardcoded; you paste the contracts you are analyzing. The tool is free and open under the BotGentz PLAYBOOK‑C specification.
