About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The Fractional NFT Buyout Vote Tool enables participation in governance votes for fractional NFT buyout proposals. It reads comprehensive state from fractional NFT contracts including proposal ID, proposal status (active, passed, failed, executed), yes and no vote counts, quorum requirements, voting power per address, user's vote status, vote windows, proposal expiration, platform fees, execution eligibility, total fractional supply, fractional holder list with balances and ownership percentages, vote delegation mechanisms, and proposal history. Users can cast votes using multiple methods: voteBuyout with support and voting power parameters, castVote for standard voting, approveBuyout to approve a proposal with delegated power, or rejectBuyout to reject with delegated power. The tool displays fractional holder distribution and voting power, enabling informed governance participation.

HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet and paste the fractional NFT contract address and the underlying NFT contract address. The tool never hardcodes addresses—you specify the contracts you're vouching for. Enter the proposal ID, select the vote method, choose your vote choice (Yes/No), optionally specify voting power for delegated votes, and provide custom vote data. Check "Approve token spending" to handle approvals automatically or "Delegate voting power" to use delegated voting rights. Click "Fetch proposal state" to view proposal status, yes and no vote counts, quorum required, your voting power, your vote status, vote window, platform fee, execution eligibility, and the top fractional holders with their balances and percentages. Review the displayed state and holder distribution carefully—your vote influences the buyout outcome. Click "Cast vote" to submit the vote transaction. Transaction status, gas costs, and confirmation are displayed upon completion.

MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE: COMPREHENSIVE PROPOSAL STATE AGGREGATION WITH HOLDER DISCOVERY

Unlike hardcoded governance tools that only show proposal status, this tool fetches eleven different state variables in parallel using Promise.all with individual error boundaries, ensuring that a revert in one view function doesn't prevent retrieval of other critical metrics. It automatically discovers fractional holders by iterating through holder indices until it hits empty entries (capped at 20 for performance), displaying addresses, balances, and ownership percentages for complete transparency before voting. The tool dynamically selects the appropriate vote method based on user input—voteBuyout with voting power support, castVote for standard voting, approveBuyout for approval, and rejectBuyout for rejection. Gas estimation factors in vote method complexity, and the tool uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice post-transaction for accurate cost reporting rather than relying on the pre-EIP-1559 gasPrice cap. Voting power, quorum requirements, and execution eligibility are displayed prominently, enabling informed governance decisions.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the fractional NFT contract or NFT contract is legitimate or has not been compromised. It cannot detect if the vote parameters have been manipulated or if the contracts have been upgraded or modified. Voting may not execute at optimal gas price due to network conditions or succeed if the contract is paused or frozen. The tool cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that vote parameters are valid, predict gas prices during congestion, or detect if the vote has been front-run. The tool cannot ensure that the vote outcome will be honored, verify off-chain vote coordination or collusion, or provide financial, investment, or legal advice. It cannot guarantee the value of the underlying NFT, ensure that all eligible voters will participate, or verify voter identity or eligibility beyond contract-reported data. Governance outcomes depend on participation and contract logic—the tool cannot control or guarantee results.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool operates on EVM-compatible chains only. It reads from and writes to fractional NFT contracts but provides no financial, investment, or legal advice. All voting decisions remain your responsibility. Always verify contract addresses, proposal IDs, and vote parameters before submitting transactions. The tool displays current state but does not automatically vote—you must review and confirm each transaction through your wallet. Gas costs vary by network conditions; the tool estimates but cannot guarantee optimal pricing. Voting power is typically proportional to fractional token holdings—ensure you understand your voting weight before casting a vote. Quorum requirements must be met for proposals to pass; your vote alone may not determine the outcome.
