WHAT IT DOES

FuboTV Web Sports Schedule Overlay reads sports schedule and game details from your FuboTV account and displays a floating sports schedule overlay showing upcoming games by league and team. The badge shows the total number of upcoming games, a list of game titles, the leagues represented, and details like teams, game times, and channels. The extension tracks game viewing history per session, so you can see which games you've already viewed. A notification system alerts you to upcoming games, with a one-hour cooldown to prevent spam. The panel settings let you control overlay visibility, refresh the schedule, manage favorite leagues, and adjust notification preferences.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all FuboTV pages at fubo.tv and its subdomains, specifically on account pages where sports schedules and game information are displayed. It runs on the main account page, the sports schedule page, the guide page, and any page displaying game information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access FuboTV's servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to fubo.tv and log in to your account. The extension automatically creates a floating sports schedule overlay on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The badge shows the number of upcoming games, game titles, leagues, and channels. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the badge with the latest schedule information. Enter your favorite leagues in the preferences section to filter the display. The "Game start notifications" toggle controls desktop notifications for upcoming games. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). Drag the badge by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the badge with the × button.

SPORTS SCHEDULE EXTRACTION WITH LEAGUE DETECTION AND SESSION-BASED VIEW TRACKING

Unlike simple schedule display tools, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find game items and schedule details from FuboTV's varying page structures. It searches for games using multiple selector patterns (.game-item, .schedule-item, .sports-game) and falls back to text parsing. For each game, it extracts the title, teams, league, time, and channel using pattern matching and fallback detection. League detection uses a built-in list of common sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, EPL, La Liga, etc.) to categorize games and display them by league. Session-based view tracking uses a unique session ID to store which games have been viewed, showing only games that haven't been seen before. The notification system checks for upcoming games every time the page updates and sends a desktop notification with a one-hour cooldown.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on fubo.tv. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, favorite leagues, notification preference, and game history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. FuboTV's website changes periodically, and game element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting schedule data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, favorite leagues, notification preference, and session-based viewed game IDs locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Viewed games are stored as an array of game IDs per session ID. The game count is based on games visible on the page—the extension does not access FuboTV's internal schedule data. Always verify with FuboTV directly for the most current schedule information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for fubo.tv.
