WHAT IT DOES
The Funding Payment Claimer enables users to claim accumulated funding payments from perpetual positions. Funding payments are periodic payments exchanged between long and short position holders in perpetual contracts, based on the difference between the perpetual price and the underlying asset price. This tool provides a streamlined interface to claim funding payments with configurable amounts and funding status verification.
The tool reads perpetual contract state, funding rate state, user position, accumulated funding payments, claimable amount, funding history, and claim status. It supports claiming funding payments with configurable amounts (or all available). The tool verifies that the claim is valid (position exists and funding payments have accumulated) before allowing claim. It displays the claimable amount, current funding rate, and last claim timestamp.
HOW TO USE
1. Connect your wallet using the Connect button. The tool automatically detects your connected address and network.
2. Select the network where your perpetual contract is deployed using the network dropdown.
3. Enter the perpetual contract address and the position ID.
4. Optionally set the claim amount (enter 0 for all available funding).
5. Configure your slippage tolerance percentage for the claim transaction.
6. Click "Check claimable funding" to verify the position exists and check the claimable amount.
7. Review the funding details in the preview panel including contract, position ID, claimable amount, funding rate, and last claim timestamp.
8. Click "Claim Funding" to submit the claim transaction through your wallet.
9. The tool will execute the claim and update the funding status.
TECHNICAL MECHANISM
The tool interacts with the perpetual contract's funding claim function, which typically takes the position ID and amount as parameters. Before claiming, the tool reads the funding state to verify that the position exists and has accumulated funding payments. The claim function then calculates the claimable amount based on the funding rate history and position size, transfers the funding payment to the user, and updates the claim status. The tool displays the claimable amount and funding rate before execution. The claim history records the transaction hash and claim amount.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
This tool cannot verify that the price feed is accurate or reliable; it relies on the perpetual contract's oracle. It cannot detect if the oracle has been compromised or manipulated. It cannot ensure that funding claim will execute at the optimal price due to slippage, market volatility, and block timing. It cannot guarantee that claim will succeed if the perpetual contract is paused or frozen. It cannot verify that the perpetual contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the claim path is optimal or if the transaction is being front-run by malicious actors. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs, insufficient approvals, out-of-gas errors, or blockchain reorgs. It cannot verify that the claimable amount is accurate or that funding payments have been properly calculated. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes that may affect funding claim value. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion, high gas prices, or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying perpetual protocol has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying claim parameters through other interfaces. It cannot ensure that claiming is economically optimal or that gas costs do not exceed claim value. It cannot guarantee that all funding payments have been accumulated correctly.

This tool is designed for EVM-compatible blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BSC, Avalanche, Fantom, and others). It requires an active wallet connection and sufficient native currency for gas fees. Always verify the perpetual contract address, position ID, and claim parameters before executing. Funding payments accumulate over time—check the claimable amount before attempting to claim. The tool is provided as-is with no warranty; users assume full responsibility for their transactions and should exercise caution when claiming funding payments.
