HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet, select the network, and paste the wallet address or position ID you want to analyze. Select the protocol type, enter the asset pair, and choose the position direction. The tool will fetch the current funding rate and position metrics, calculate the estimated payment, and display the results alongside an AI-generated plain-English explanation. No transaction is required — this is a read-only operation. The AI explanation is generated from the exact data the tool reads, ensuring the guidance is grounded in what the chain actually shows.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool performs view calls to fetch the current funding rate from the perpetual protocol contract, along with position size, direction, and collateral data. It calculates the estimated next funding payment by multiplying the position size by the current funding rate, adjusting for the funding interval. The tool analyzes historical funding rate patterns to determine if the current rate is unusually high or low, and calculates the annualized cost of holding the position. It also factors in the position's leverage and current PnL to provide context on how funding payments affect overall profitability.
