WHAT IT DOES

The Gains Network Long Position tool lets you open leveraged long positions on Gains Network's gTrade platform on Arbitrum or Polygon. You provide the trading contract address, select an asset (BTC, ETH, SOL, LINK, ARB, OP, MATIC, AVAX, DOGE, XRP), set your collateral amount and token address (DAI, USDC, or USDT), and choose your leverage (1x to 100x). The tool fetches your current position data, builds the appropriate transaction, and submits it via your connected wallet. All trade parameters are shown in a review card before signing, so you know exactly what you are executing—including the position size (collateral × leverage).

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your EVM wallet using the Connect Wallet button.

2. Select your chain: Arbitrum One (42161) or Polygon (137).

3. Enter the gTrade trading contract address (you provide the address you trust).

4. Select the asset you want to long.

5. Enter collateral amount and the collateral token address (DAI, USDC, or USDT).

6. Set leverage (1–100x).

7. Click "Fetch position info" to see your current open position, if any.

8. Review the trade summary in the review section.

9. Click "Open long position" to sign and submit the transaction.

THE REAL MECHANISM — user-provided contract address with flexible interface detection

This tool does not hardcode any Gains Network contract addresses—you provide the trading contract address you trust, ensuring you are interacting with the contract you intend to use. The tool attempts to fetch your position using multiple common Gains Network interface patterns: `getPosition(address trader)` and `positionInfo(address trader)`, handling different contract versions gracefully. For execution, it tries three common function signatures for opening a position: `openPosition(asset, collateral, leverage)`, `openPosition(token, asset, collateral, leverage)`, and `openPosition(asset, collateral, leverage, minPrice)`, automatically falling back to the one that succeeds. This makes the tool compatible with different gTrade contract versions and deployments. The tool formats the asset as bytes32, collateral and leverage as uint256 with 18 decimals, and submits the transaction through your wallet—no data leaves your browser except the signed transaction.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

- This tool cannot predict price movements or guarantee trade outcomes.

- It cannot close positions that are already liquidated.

- It cannot read positions that are not accessible via the standard Gains Network contract interface.

- It does not support Gains Network on chains other than Arbitrum or Polygon.

- It cannot execute short positions—this tool is specifically designed for longs only.

- It cannot verify if the provided contract address is the official Gains Network trading contract—you are responsible for checking the address you enter.

PLEASE NOTE

- This tool works only on Arbitrum One (42161) and Polygon (137), where Gains Network gTrade is deployed.

- You must provide the trading contract address yourself—this tool does not hardcode any addresses, so you remain in control.

- Leverage range is 1–100x, matching Gains Network's typical range.

- Collateral token must be a stablecoin supported by Gains Network (DAI, USDC, or USDT) on your chosen chain.

- Always review the trade parameters in the review card before signing—the tool shows collateral, leverage, asset, and position size so you can catch errors before execution.
