Gmail Signal is a tool that lets you send a region preference to BotSurf when accessing Gmail and Google services. By adjusting your region signal, you can explore how Google tailors interface language, date/time formats, and regional preferences for different countries. Whether you are checking how Gmail appears in different languages, exploring regional settings, or seeing how Google services adapt to different regions, this app provides a simple interface to adjust your region signal in seconds and see how Google's regionalization changes across the world.

WHAT THE REGION CHANGES

When you adjust your region signal, the app updates the regional preference sent to BotSurf, which may affect Google services that respect such signals:

• Interface language: Gmail and Google services may display their interface in the local language of the selected region.

• Date and time formats: Regional date, time, and number formats adjust to the conventions of the selected region.

• Localized advertising: Ads and promotions displayed in Google services may reflect regional preferences and offerings.

• Regional service preferences: Some Google services may offer region-specific features or content based on the selected region.

• Google account settings: Some regional account settings may appear differently based on the claimed region.

• Search results: Google search results may prioritize content relevant to the selected region.

• Google services availability: Some Google features or services may only be available in certain regions.

HOW TO USE

1. Open the app panel over Gmail or any Google service, or use it in full-screen mode.

2. The current region is displayed in the header chip with its flag and label.

3. Tap the "Change" button to select a new region from the list of available countries.

4. If your browser asks to reload the page, choose "Reload" to apply the new region preference. If you select "Never," the app will still remember your choice and continue to function correctly, but the underlying page may not reflect the change until you manually refresh.

5. The Consistency Check shows how your browser signals (timezone, language, currency format) compare to the claimed region, helping you identify potential mismatches.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO

This app sends a region preference only—it does not route traffic or bypass restrictions on its own. It does not guarantee access to region-locked content or services, does not affect email delivery speeds or reliability, and cannot access content not available in the target region. It also cannot change the region for platforms that use other geolocation methods, nor can it unlock content that is not available in the target region. The app does not circumvent Google's VPN detection measures, which may still block traffic even with a valid region signal. Some Google services may require a valid account or payment method from the target region, and region-specific features may not include all options available in other regions. Results vary significantly depending on Google's regional policies.

Google actively monitors and blocks traffic that appears to originate from VPNs or proxy servers. Even with a valid region signal, Google's detection systems may still restrict your access.
