WHAT IT DOES

HOA Management Platform Dues Reminder helps homeowners and HOA board members stay on top of dues and payments by displaying clear, visual tracking on community management platforms. The script detects dues amounts, due dates, payment statuses, outstanding balances, and account holder names. A visible badge shows total outstanding dues, overdue amounts, and upcoming due dates at a glance. Color-coded urgency indicators make payment status immediately clear: green for paid, yellow for upcoming, orange for overdue, and red for past due. Due date countdown timers show exactly how many days remain before a payment is due. Payment history and transaction records are displayed for each account. The dashboard provides a quick overview of all accounts with their balances and statuses. Payment reminders are generated when dues are overdue. Payment trends and delinquency rates help you track overall community financial health.

This script runs on major community management platforms including BuildingLink, HOA Express, Village, HOA.ci, Community Gateway, MyHOA, Condo Control, and FrontSteps. It works on dues dashboards, payment portals, account balance pages, and financial reporting views.

HOW TO USE

After installing through the BotGentz extension, navigate to your HOA management platform's dues or payment page. The script automatically detects and organizes all dues information. A badge shows total outstanding and overdue amounts. Use the dashboard to view each account with its balance, due date, status, and countdown timer. Payment history is shown for each account when enabled. Use the configuration panel to customize your experience: toggle the dues badge on or off, show or hide countdown timers, enable or disable color-coded status indicators, show or hide payment history, enable overdue alerts, and set the auto-refresh interval in seconds. Use the "Scan Dues" button to manually re-scan the page, or "Export" to copy a dues summary report to your clipboard.

HOA DUES EXTRACTION WITH STATUS CLASSIFICATION AND COUNTDOWN TRACKING

This script implements a dues extraction engine using DOM traversal with platform-specific and generic selectors. The engine scans for dues entries using selectors tailored to each supported platform, falling back to generic patterns for pages that don't match specific selectors. The status classification system uses keyword detection (paid, overdue, past due, upcoming) and date comparison to assign status levels. The countdown timer calculates days until the due date (or days overdue) using date parsing with multiple formats. The payment history extraction captures transaction records with amounts and dates. The alert system triggers GM_notification when overdue dues are detected.

THE PANEL

The configuration panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per-site using GM_setValue. It snaps to screen edges when dragged near them, collapses to a compact bubble when minimized, and supports Escape key for quick collapse. All settings—including badge visibility, countdown display, status coloring, history display, overdue alerts, and auto-refresh interval—are persisted across sessions.

It does not capture, store, or transmit any personal information. All dues data is stored locally in your browser using GM_setValue and never transmitted to external servers. The script reads only publicly visible dues information displayed on the page. Due to the variety of community management platforms, some dues may not be detected perfectly—always verify critical financial information manually.
