About this app
WHAT IT DOES
This tool provides a unified view of your DeFi positions by aggregating data from multiple protocols via the Instadapp API. It reads your wallet balances, token holdings, and positions across lending, borrowing, liquidity pools, yield farms, and staking protocols—all in one place. The tool organizes your positions by protocol, showing asset balances, USD values, and APY where available, with total portfolio value and position count. You can filter by network and view your entire DeFi footprint in a single table, making it easy to understand where your capital is deployed and how it's performing across different protocols.
HOW TO USE
Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button, or manually enter any wallet address in the lookup field. Select the network you want to analyze (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BSC, Fantom, or Gnosis). Click "Aggregate DeFi positions" to fetch data from the Instadapp API. The tool will display your total position value in USD, a count of positions, and a detailed breakdown table showing each position's protocol, type, asset, balance, USD value, and APY. If you connected your wallet, the address is pre-filled automatically. The results are sorted by value descending, showing your largest positions first.
TECHNICAL MECHANISM
The tool queries the Instadapp API endpoint at https://api.instadapp.io/v2/users/{address}/positions?network={chain}. Instadapp aggregates data from multiple DeFi protocols—including Aave, Compound, MakerDAO, Uniswap, Curve, and others—normalizing position data into a consistent format. The API returns a structured response with each position's protocol name, type (lending, borrowing, liquidity, yield, staking), asset symbol, balance, USD value, and APY. The tool parses this response, sums the total USD value across all positions, and sorts individual positions by value descending. The results table displays protocol, type, asset, balance, USD value, and APY, with total portfolio value and position count highlighted at the top. The tool supports multiple networks by passing the appropriate chain parameter to the API.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
The tool cannot view positions on non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, Bitcoin) or protocols that are not integrated with Instadapp's API. It cannot show real-time pending transactions or mempool activity—only confirmed on-chain data is available. It cannot access wallet data without explicit user connection or manual address entry—you must connect your wallet or enter an address manually. It cannot detect off-chain holdings (e.g., centralized exchange balances, fiat currency) or assets in wallets you do not specify. It does not support cross-chain aggregation across multiple wallets in a single view—each wallet must be looked up separately. It cannot execute transactions or automate position management—this tool is analysis-only. The Instadapp API may have rate limits or require an API key for production use; if you encounter limits, you may need to provide your own key or wait before making additional requests. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee the accuracy of aggregated data—always verify positions directly on-chain.
PLEASE NOTE
This tool is for informational purposes only and is not financial advice. Position values are estimates based on data from Instadapp and may not reflect exact market prices or pending transactions. Always verify your holdings directly on-chain before making any decisions. The Instadapp API is subject to rate limits and availability; if the API is down, the tool will display an error. This tool only works with EVM-compatible chains and protocols integrated with Instadapp. Use at your own risk.
