This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying Kickstarter campaign descriptions, reward tiers, project details, or similar campaign content. Common sources include Kickstarter campaign pages and other crowdfunding platforms.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a Kickstarter campaign description, reward tiers, or project details. Open the BotGentz extension and select Kickstarter Pledge Question Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Enter the reward tier name you are asking about. Select the clarification topic (availability, shipping, timeline, specifications, or other). Optionally, enter specific question details. Select your preferred style (direct or friendly) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Question" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant campaign and reward details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, polite question in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in the Kickstarter comments section.

Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, reward tier, clarification topic, question details, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a clear, polite question with standardized sections (greeting, reward tier reference, clarification request, interest expression, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
