WHAT IT DOES
Large Holder Sell Alert watches the current Etherscan token page for the displayed token contract address, reads the token's recent transfer history via the Etherscan API, monitors for large transfers to decentralized exchanges (DEXs) or known selling addresses, analyzes transfer patterns to detect potential large holder sell events, calculates the amount relative to typical trading volume and holder concentration, and displays alerts with transaction details, destination analysis, and sell pressure assessment when significant large holder sales are detected. The tool extracts the token address from the page URL, fetches recent token transfer history from the Etherscan API using the token transfer endpoint, stores historical transfer snapshots locally to detect new sales, compares destination addresses against a built-in list of known DEXs, calculates the sale value in USD using approximate token prices, and analyzes the source address to determine if it originates from a known large holder wallet. It then classifies detected sales by risk level based on the size relative to the configured threshold and estimated sell pressure, displaying alerts with the exchange name, transaction hash, amount, source address, and pressure assessment.
WHERE IT RUNS
The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on Etherscan token pages at https://etherscan.io/token/*. It works on any token page on Etherscan where transfer history is available through the Etherscan API. The tool connects to the Etherscan public API via GM_xmlhttpRequest to fetch token transfer data. No data is sent to any external server beyond the API request; all data is read-only and processed locally. A real EVM wallet is optional — the tool will work without one, but may provide additional on-chain verification if available.
HOW TO USE
Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to any Etherscan token page, and open the Large Holder Sell Alert panel. Set your minimum sell threshold in USD (default $1,000,000) — the tool will alert you when any transfer to a DEX exceeds this value. Select your monitoring interval from the dropdown — 30, 60, 120, or 300 seconds. Choose your alert preference — Panel only, Browser notification, or Both. Click "Monitor Sells" — the tool begins fetching token transfer data from the Etherscan API at your chosen interval, stores historical transfer hashes locally, and compares each new fetch against the stored history. When a new transfer to a known DEX exceeds the threshold, the tool triggers an alert with the DEX name, amount, transaction hash, source address, and sell pressure assessment. The alert log maintains a history of recent alerts for review. Click "Refresh" to manually check for new sells, or "Clear History" to reset the alert log.
MECHANISM — LARGE HOLDER SELL DETECTION VIA DEX ADDRESS MATCHING AND PRESSURE ANALYSIS
This tool uses a large holder sell detection engine that combines transfer tracking with DEX address matching and sell pressure analysis. The system extracts the token address from the page URL, then constructs the Etherscan API endpoint URL (https://api.etherscan.io/api?module=account&action=tokentx&address={address}&sort=desc&offset=25). It uses GM_xmlhttpRequest with GET method to fetch the token transfer list, which returns a JSON array containing up to 25 recent transfer events with fields including hash, from, to, value, tokenSymbol, tokenDecimal, and timeStamp. The tool stores transfer hashes from each fetch in a local history object keyed by token address using GM_setValue to persist data across page reloads. On each monitoring cycle, the tool compares the current transfer list against the stored history, filtering out transfers already seen and identifying new transactions. For each new transfer, it calculates the USD value using a price estimation function that maps token symbols to approximate prices, then checks the destination address against a built-in list of known DEX addresses from Uniswap, SushiSwap, 1inch, 0x, and Curve. The sell pressure assessment uses a multi-tier classification: Extreme (>5× threshold), Strong (>3× threshold), or Moderate (≥ threshold). When a match is found and the value exceeds the threshold, the alert triggering system activates, sending browser notifications via GM_notification and updating the panel display with the DEX name, amount, source address, and pressure assessment.
THE PANEL
The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the Etherscan interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit a token page. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your blockchain investigation workflow.

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension to function. A real EVM wallet extension is optional — the tool will work without one, but may provide additional on-chain verification if available. EVM chains only. This is a monitoring and alert tool only — it does not execute transaction-based actions automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the API data includes all mempool transactions or pending sales. It cannot account for token price changes between data fetches. It cannot read transfer history from tokens not tracked on Etherscan. It cannot identify DEXs or selling addresses not included in the known address list. It cannot detect sales made through aggregators that obscure the final destination. It cannot distinguish between large holder sales and other large transfers without manual verification. It cannot predict future selling activity or price impact. All API data is fetched through public endpoints; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser. Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. Always verify all transaction details independently before making any decisions based on the alerts.
