About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Legacy Token Claim Migrator is a DeFi-focused tool that enables users to migrate legacy token claims to new token contracts. Unlike simple claim tools that only handle single-contract claims, this tool supports migration from legacy claim contracts to updated token contracts, ensuring users can access their tokens after a token upgrade or contract migration. It reads legacy claim contract state, verifies claim eligibility, checks claim amounts, reviews user's claim history, validates migration eligibility, and confirms new token contract state. The tool supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Base, providing a unified interface to migrate legacy token claims across multiple networks. This is essential for users with unclaimed tokens from older contracts that have been upgraded or replaced.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using WalletConnect or a compatible browser extension. Ensure your wallet is on the network where the legacy claim contract is deployed. Enter the legacy claim contract address and the new token address—these are the contracts you are interacting with, and you are vouching for their safety. Optionally enter a claim ID if required. Click "Check claim" to verify your claim eligibility, amount, and migration status. The tool displays the claim amount, claim status, and migration eligibility. If you have an unclaimed legacy claim and are eligible for migration, the "Migrate claim" button appears. Click it to submit the migration transaction. The tool processes the migration, transferring your claim from the legacy contract to the new token contract. The tool displays a transaction link to your chain's block explorer and logs the final gas cost using receipt.effectiveGasPrice.

ADAPTIVE LEGACY CLAIM MIGRATION VALIDATION ENGINE

The core technical mechanism that distinguishes this tool is its adaptive legacy claim migration validation engine. Unlike simple claim tools that assume all conditions are met, this tool performs comprehensive validation before allowing a migration. The engine first reads the user's claim amount from the legacy contract using claimAmount(address), determining if any tokens are available. It then checks the claim status using hasClaimed(address) to prevent duplicate claims, and verifies eligibility using isEligible(address) if available. The engine also checks the claim deadline using claimDeadline() to ensure the claim period has not expired. For migration, the engine validates that the new token contract is functional by querying its state, and checks that the migration function is available on the legacy contract. If all checks pass, the migration is enabled. When executed, the tool calls the migrate() function on the legacy contract, which processes the transfer to the new token. All RPC calls are wrapped with timeout and retry logic, and the tool automatically falls back to a secondary provider if the primary endpoint fails or rate-limits, ensuring validation completes even during network congestion.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot guarantee that legacy token claims will migrate correctly if the legacy contract does not support migration, the user is not eligible for migration, the new token contract does not support the required transfer methods, or the migration parameters change before the claim is confirmed. It has no visibility into the legacy contract's internal migration logic beyond what the contract exposes, nor can it predict if the contract logic will be modified. The tool cannot detect if the new token contract has been upgraded. It does not monitor claims after migration—it is a migration tool, not a tracking service. The tool cannot interact with non-EVM chains, private networks, or legacy contracts that do not implement the standard migration interface it expects.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is designed exclusively for EVM-compatible blockchain networks. It supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Base, and similar chains. Non-EVM networks such as Solana, Cosmos, or Bitcoin are not supported. Always verify the legacy contract address and new token address before migrating—the tool does not validate contract safety or migration terms beyond basic verification. The tool provides estimates only—actual gas costs are determined at the time of transaction execution. Users are responsible for understanding migration risks, including the possibility that the legacy contract may not support migration as expected.
