About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Lido Staking Pool Monitor provides read-only access to the Lido staking protocol on Ethereum. It monitors stETH contract state, user balances, total supply, share rate, and staking pool metrics. The tool reads stETH contract state, stETH balances, stETH total supply, stETH share rate, Lido contract state, staking pool state, withdrawal queue state, validator state, node operator state, rebase history, deposit contract state, staking APR, chain ID, block timestamp, gas price, protocol fee data, referral fee data, insurance fund state, treasury state, and governance data. All data is read directly from the chain through your connected provider — no funds are ever at risk.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar) to establish a provider connection. Select Ethereum Mainnet — Lido staking is primarily deployed on Ethereum. Paste the stETH contract address to monitor — the tool does not hardcode any address, giving you full flexibility to inspect official Lido deployments or fork contracts. Optionally enter a Lido contract address for additional protocol state reads. Enter a user address to check their stETH balance, or leave it empty to use your connected wallet. Click "Monitor staking pool" to fetch and display the current stETH state, including total supply, total pooled ETH, share rate, and user-specific balance data. The tool shows progress as it reads contract state and builds the monitoring results.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD

The tool uses a multi-step read strategy to assemble a complete staking pool snapshot. First, it connects to the provider and validates the stETH contract address. It then reads the total supply, total pooled ETH, and total shares using the standard stETH view functions. The share rate is calculated by calling getPooledEthByShares with 1 stETH as input, providing the current ETH-to-stETH conversion rate. If a user address is provided, the tool reads both the balanceOf and sharesOf to show the user's complete position. The tool also attempts to calculate the estimated ETH value of the user's stETH balance using the current share rate. All results are displayed in a clear, readable format with proper decimal handling using ethers.js utilities.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot predict future staking rewards or APY; rewards depend on Ethereum network conditions and validator performance. It cannot verify that the stETH share rate accurately reflects the true value of staked ETH due to potential validator performance issues, slashing events, or other unforeseen circumstances. It cannot detect if the staking pool has been exploited or if there are security vulnerabilities in the staking contracts; the tool only reads public state. It cannot guarantee that withdrawal requests will be processed within the expected time frame; withdrawal processing depends on the withdrawal queue and validator exit conditions. It cannot verify that the node operators are performing as expected; the tool does not analyze validator performance data. It cannot predict when the next rebase will occur or what the reward distribution will be; rebases happen daily but exact timing and amounts are variable.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works exclusively with EVM-compatible blockchains, primarily Ethereum Mainnet where Lido is deployed. It does not support non-EVM chains. The tool is read-only — it never signs transactions or moves funds. Always verify the stETH contract address against official Lido documentation before use. The tool is provided as-is with no warranty of any kind. Lido staking involves protocol risks including slashing, smart contract vulnerabilities, and withdrawal delays.
