About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Limit Order Matcher enables users to match and manage limit orders on EVM-compatible order book contracts. It reads and displays limit order contract state showing current status (OPEN, FILLED, CANCELLED, EXPIRED), order ID for identification, order maker address for the order creator, order token address for the token being traded, order token amount for size, order price for the limit, order pair for the trading pair, order expiry for timing, order match status for completion, order fulfillment status for partial fills, order cancellation status for voided orders, current market price for comparison, token pair price for valuation, order book depth for liquidity, maker balances for available funds, maker approvals for token spending, taker balances for available funds, taker approvals for token spending, token metadata including name, symbol, and decimals, gas price estimates for cost planning, order match history for audit, order cancellation history for tracking, open orders count for activity, total order volume for throughput, average fill price for execution quality, order fee structure for costs, and order match events for monitoring. The tool provides a streamlined interface for matching orders, filling orders at specified prices, and cancelling open orders.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet to the tool and select the network where your limit order contract is deployed. Enter the order contract address, order ID, token A address, token amount, limit price, and select the action (Match Order or Cancel Order). Click "Check Order" to verify the order state and get order status, maker, amount, limit price, market price, and expiry. Click "Approve Tokens" to approve the order contract for token spending. Review the displayed order information, then click "Execute" to sign and submit the order match or cancellation transaction. The tool will show the transaction hash immediately, then update with the execution status once confirmed. The tool works with any EVM-compatible limit order contract.

THE MECHANISM

Limit Order Matcher uses the standard limit order contract interface to match and manage orders. The tool reads contract state using view functions including status(), orderId(), maker(), tokenAmount(), price(), expiry(), and matchStatus(). When matching an order, the tool constructs a transaction that calls matchOrder() on the order contract with the order ID and fill amount. The tool then approves the order contract for token spending using the ERC-20 approve() function. If the order is to be cancelled, the tool calls cancelOrder() with the order ID. The tool checks the current market price against the limit price to ensure the order is executable. The tool simulates the process of connecting to an order contract, reading state, constructing match transactions, and monitoring execution.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

Limit Order Matcher cannot guarantee that the order will be matched at the specified price due to market movements, as prices may change between detection and execution. The tool cannot detect if the order book is being manipulated, as that requires real-time monitoring of all orders. It cannot predict order fill time or partial fill behavior, as fill time depends on market conditions. The tool cannot verify that the order maker has sufficient token balance at the time of matching, as balances may change. It cannot detect if the order contract is compromised or has vulnerabilities. The tool cannot guarantee that the order will be matched at all, as matching depends on counterparty availability.

PLEASE NOTE

Limit Order Matcher supports EVM-compatible chains only. The tool uses simulated order state and does not execute transactions without user confirmation. Order matching results are for informational purposes only — always verify order details and market conditions before executing. The tool is free to use and does not store or transmit any data off-device. Always check order expiry and market price before matching limit orders.
