WHAT IT DOES

Liquidation Risk Alert for Position monitors the current lending position page, reading your health factor, collateral, debt, and asset prices from the chain. It calculates the liquidation price and distance to liquidation, then triggers alerts when your position approaches liquidation — when the health factor falls below a configurable warning threshold. The panel displays risk metrics including health factor, collateral, debt, LTV, distance to liquidation, and risk level (Safe, Caution, Warning, Critical). Desktop notifications and sound alerts are triggered when risk is detected, helping you take action before liquidation occurs.

WHERE IT RUNS

This userscript runs inside major DeFi lending platforms including Aave, Compound, and Curve in your browser, powered by the free BotGentz extension. It operates entirely on the page you are viewing — it reads position data from the page and through your wallet provider. The tool is read-only and never signs transactions or moves funds.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, then install this userscript from the BotGentz catalogue. Navigate to a lending position page on Aave, Compound, or Curve. Connect your wallet (MetaMask or any EVM-compatible wallet) — the tool uses your wallet to read on-chain position data. Configure your settings — set the warning health factor threshold (default 1.3), alert interval in minutes, and toggle desktop notifications, sound alerts, and auto-refresh. Click "Start Monitoring" to begin. The tool will continuously monitor your position and alert you when the health factor approaches the warning threshold. The panel displays real-time risk metrics, and alerts are triggered with notifications and sounds.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD

The tool extracts position data from the page's DOM using platform-specific selectors like .health-factor, .collateral-value, .debt-value, and .ltv-value. It calculates the distance to liquidation as a percentage, with 100% being the liquidation point. The risk level is determined by comparing the health factor against configurable thresholds: Safe (above warning), Caution (between warning and 1.3x warning), Warning (below warning but above 1.0), and Critical (at or below 1.0). When the health factor drops below the warning threshold, the tool triggers an alert — desktop notification, sound, and panel flash. The alert cooldown prevents spam while still notifying you of persistent risk. All settings are persisted locally using GM_setValue.

THE PANEL

The tool runs in the BotGentz panel, a draggable floating interface that stays on top of the page. You can drag the panel by its header, collapse it to a small bubble, and resize it. The panel remembers its position per site, so it stays where you left it when you return to the platform. Press Escape to close the panel when you are done. The panel includes a wallet connection button, status display, health factor, risk level, collateral, debt, LTV, distance to liquidation, settings for warning threshold, alert interval, notifications, sound, and auto-refresh, plus start/stop monitoring and manual check buttons.

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask or similar) already installed in your browser. The tool works on EVM chains only — Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and other EVM chains are supported. The tool is read-only and never signs transactions or moves funds. The health factor and risk metrics are estimates based on current data and may change after the next block. DeFi platforms frequently update their interfaces — if the tool stops working, check for an updated version or report the issue. This tool is for monitoring only — it does not prevent liquidation. Always monitor your positions regularly and take action when risk is detected.
