About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Livestream Chat Summarizer is a writing tool that analyzes livestream chat logs, chat messages, and comment feeds from any webpage, then generates a concise summary of the chat activity. It identifies the main themes or topics discussed, the most common questions or comments, any notable interactions or moments, and the overall sentiment or tone of the chat, then produces a clear, easy-to-read summary that captures the essential activity of the livestream chat. You can choose between a brief or detailed summary length, review the summary in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for your reference or for sharing with others.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying livestream chat logs, chat messages, comment feeds, or similar livestream content. Common sources include YouTube Live, Twitch, Facebook Live, and other livestreaming platforms.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a livestream chat log, chat messages, or comment feed. Open the BotGentz extension and select Livestream Chat Summarizer from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Select your preferred summary length (brief or detailed) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Summarize Chat" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant chat content and sends it to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a concise livestream chat summary in the panel. Review the summary, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for your reference.

TECHNICAL SECTION — LIVESTREAM CHAT AND MESSAGE EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on livestream chat and real-time communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing chat indicators such as "chat," "message," "comment," "stream," "live," "viewer," "question," "topic," "sentiment," and "interaction." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the chat data and surrounding structural markers (usernames, timestamps, message content). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of a livestream chat context using features like chat language frequency ("message," "comment," "live," "stream"), viewer references, and interaction markers. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into four core categories: the main themes or topics, popular questions or comments, notable interactions, and the overall sentiment. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's length preference, are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a concise summary covering the key categories, reducing hallucination and ensuring accurate, contextually appropriate insights.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and an active subscription to access the AI summarization feature. AI-generated chat summaries are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy before relying on them, as interpretations may occasionally miss chat nuances or misread the conversation context. Websites change their livestream page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
