About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The Locked Liquidity Extender enables users to extend the lock duration of locked LP (liquidity provider) tokens. Locked liquidity is a common mechanism in DeFi where LP tokens are locked in a contract for a specified period to demonstrate long-term commitment and provide stability to trading pairs. Extending the lock duration can signal continued confidence in a project and prevent early liquidity withdrawal. This tool provides a streamlined interface to extend lock durations with configurable additional time and lock status verification.

The tool reads locked liquidity contract state, lock position, LP token balances, lock parameters, lock owner, lock status, lock duration, and unlock timestamp. It supports extending the lock duration of locked LP tokens with configurable additional time. The tool verifies that the caller is the lock owner and that the lock is active before allowing extension. It calculates and displays the new unlock timestamp based on the current unlock time plus the additional duration.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your wallet using the Connect button. The tool automatically detects your connected address and network.

2. Select the network where your lock contract is deployed using the network dropdown.

3. Enter the lock contract address, the lock ID, and the additional duration in seconds.

4. Configure your slippage tolerance percentage for the extension transaction.

5. Click "Load lock" to verify the lock exists and check the current lock details.

6. Review the lock details in the preview panel including lock contract, lock ID, owner, LP token, locked amount, current unlock, and new unlock timestamp.

7. Click "Extend Lock" to submit the extension transaction through your wallet.

8. The tool will verify ownership and execute the extension.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool interacts with the lock contract's extension function, which typically takes the lock ID and additional duration as parameters. Before extending, the tool reads the lock state to verify that the caller is the lock owner and that the lock is active. The extension function then adds the additional duration to the current unlock timestamp, updating the lock's expiry time. The tool calculates and displays the new unlock timestamp based on the current unlock time plus the additional duration. The extension history records the transaction hash and the new unlock timestamp.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the price feed is accurate or reliable; it relies on the lock contract's internal state. It cannot detect if the oracle has been compromised or manipulated. It cannot ensure that lock extension will execute at the optimal price due to slippage, market volatility, and block timing. It cannot guarantee that extension will succeed if the lock contract is paused or frozen. It cannot verify that the lock contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the extension path is optimal or if the transaction is being front-run by malicious actors. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs, insufficient approvals, out-of-gas errors, or blockchain reorgs. It cannot verify that the locked liquidity position is legitimate or not. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes that may affect extension value. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion, high gas prices, or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying lock protocol has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying extension parameters through other interfaces. It cannot ensure that lock extension is economically optimal or that the extended duration is appropriate. It cannot guarantee that the lock will be successfully extended before expiry.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is designed for EVM-compatible blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BSC, Avalanche, Fantom, and others). It requires an active wallet connection and sufficient native currency for gas fees. Always verify the lock contract address, lock ID, and extension parameters before executing. Only the lock owner can extend the lock duration. The additional duration is in seconds—ensure you calculate it correctly. The tool is provided as-is with no warranty; users assume full responsibility for their transactions and should exercise caution when extending locked liquidity. For mainnet usage, ensure the lock contract has been audited and you understand the risks of locked liquidity including contract upgrades, gas costs, and smart contract risks.
