WHAT IT DOES

Mailchimp Campaign Exporter scans Mailchimp campaign list pages and extracts structured campaign performance data including campaign name, campaign type (regular, automated, RSS, A/B test), status (sent, draft, paused, scheduled), send date, recipient count, open rate, click rate, bounce rate, unsubscribe count, revenue generated, subject line, and preview text. The tool aggregates all visible campaigns from the current page into a clean table and exports the data as CSV or JSON with one click. You can also copy the data to your clipboard as tab-separated text for pasting into spreadsheets or email marketing analysis tools.

WHERE IT RUNS

This userscript runs inside Mailchimp (admin.mailchimp.com) in your browser, powered by the free BotGentz extension. It operates entirely on the page you are viewing — it does not send your campaign data anywhere else. All data extraction and processing happens locally in your browser. The script works on the Mailchimp campaign list page, which displays all your sent and draft campaigns.

HOW TO USE

Install the BotGentz extension, then install this userscript from the BotGentz catalogue. Navigate to the Mailchimp Campaigns page (admin.mailchimp.com/campaigns). The tool will automatically scan the page and show the number of campaigns found. Use the "Scan Page" button to manually refresh the data. Select which columns you want to export by toggling the checkboxes. Choose your export format (CSV or JSON) from the dropdown. Click "Export" to download the file with the current date in the filename. Click "Copy to Clipboard" to copy tab-separated campaign data for pasting into spreadsheets or reporting tools.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD

The script uses a multi-strategy extraction approach that adapts to Mailchimp's dynamically rendered React-based DOM. It first attempts to locate the campaign table using selectors like table.campaign-table, .campaign-table, and [data-testid="campaign-list"]. If those fail, it scans the page for any table containing campaign-related keywords like "campaign", "open rate", "click rate", "recipients", or "send date". The script intelligently identifies table headers from the thead or first row, and maps values to their appropriate columns. For each row, it extracts campaign name, type, status, send date, recipient count, open rate, click rate, bounce rate, unsubscribes, and revenue. The script handles dynamic column counts and applies deduplication. The CSV export handles proper escaping of fields containing commas, quotes, or newlines.

THE PANEL

The tool runs in the BotGentz panel, a draggable floating interface that stays on top of the page. You can drag the panel by its header, collapse it to a small bubble, and resize it. The panel remembers its position per site, so it stays where you left it when you return to Mailchimp. Press Escape to close the panel when you are done. The panel includes status indicators showing how many campaigns were found, a format selector, and checkboxes for selecting which columns to export.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension to run. Mailchimp frequently updates its interface — if the tool stops working, check for an updated version or report the issue. All data stays in your browser and is never sent to any external server. The tool works only on the current page; to export campaigns from multiple pages, scan each page individually. The tool extracts visible data only and cannot access campaign data not loaded on the current page. Campaign performance data should be verified against Mailchimp's official reports for accuracy.
