WHAT IT DOES Mempool Size Overlay watches the current DeFi page for the user's wallet address, reads the current mempool size (pending transaction count) and transaction backlog via eth_getBlockByNumber or a mempool API, monitors mempool size trends over time, calculates the estimated waiting time for transaction inclusion based on mempool size and gas prices, and displays an overlay with mempool size, estimated wait time, and execution recommendations when mempool congestion is high or optimal transaction timing is detected. The tool connects to the user's wallet via window.ethereum, reads the current mempool size and transaction backlog, monitors mempool size trends, calculates estimated wait time, and provides recommendations. WHERE IT RUNS The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on DeFi pages at https://app.uniswap.org/*, https://app.gmx.io/*, and https://app.aave.com/*. It works on Uniswap, GMX, and Aave pages where users may execute transactions. The tool connects to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call and the ethers library loaded at runtime. No data is sent to any external server; all reads happen directly from the blockchain through your wallet provider. HOW TO USE Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to Uniswap, GMX, or Aave with your wallet connected, and open the Mempool Size Overlay panel. Set your mempool size alert threshold (default 1000) — the tool will alert you when pending transactions exceed this value. Set your estimated wait time threshold in seconds (default 60) — the tool will alert you when estimated wait time exceeds this value. Choose your alert preference — Panel only, Browser notification, or Both. Toggle "Auto-check on page load" if you want the tool to analyze automatically when you open the panel. Click "Monitor Mempool" — the tool reads the current mempool size and transaction backlog, monitors mempool size trends over time, calculates estimated waiting time for transaction inclusion, and displays a comprehensive analysis with recommendations. When mempool congestion is high or wait time exceeds the configured threshold, the tool triggers alerts with pending transaction count and estimated wait time. The mempool monitor updates automatically every 15 seconds. Click "Refresh" to manually update the mempool data. MECHANISM — MEMPOOL SIZE DETECTION WITH WAIT TIME CALCULATION This tool uses a mempool size detection engine that estimates transaction wait times. The system first connects to window.ethereum and requests the user's wallet address. It reads the current mempool size using a combination of eth_getBlockByNumber to analyze pending transaction counts. The tool monitors mempool size trends over time by storing historical size data and calculating the rate of change (trend). The estimated waiting time is calculated using the formula: waitTime = (mempoolSize / 10) / (gasPrice / 30), adjusted for the current gas price. The urgency classification uses a multi-tier system: HIGH (mempoolSize ≥ threshold OR waitTime ≥ waitThreshold), MODERATE (mempoolSize ≥ threshold * 0.7), or LOW (mempoolSize < threshold * 0.7). Recommendations are generated based on the mempool size and wait time, helping users time their transactions for optimal execution. THE PANEL The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the DeFi interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit the exchange. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your DeFi workflow. PLEASE NOTE This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (such as MetaMask) already installed in your browser. EVM chains only — currently supports Ethereum mainnet. This is a monitoring and analysis tool only — it does not execute transaction optimization automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the displayed mempool size matches the exact moment of execution due to network changes. It cannot account for mempool size changes during execution. It cannot predict future mempool trends or optimal timing. It cannot read mempool data from all EVM chains. It cannot read private wallet information or transaction intentions. All blockchain reads are performed directly through your wallet provider; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser. Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. Always verify all mempool conditions and wait times independently before executing any transactions based on the dashboard.
