About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool provides read-only verification of metaverse event attendance, enabling you to check ticket check-in status and attendance history. It reads your connected wallet address, event ticket contract address, ticket IDs, attendee addresses, event metadata, check-in status, verification timestamp, current block timestamp, attendance history, and verification status. You can then generate detailed attendance reports showing which tickets have been checked in, who attended, and when. All attendance parameters are displayed in a clear results panel after verification, so you can see exactly what the data shows. The tool also displays the current block timestamp and provides a summary of attendance statistics.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the built-in wallet bridge, choose the network that matches your ticket contract, and paste the ticket contract address. Enter the ticket IDs you want to verify as a comma-separated list, and optionally an attendee address to view attendance history for a specific person. The results panel shows the ticket contract address, ticket count, check-in status, and current block timestamp. The attendance details text area shows the status of each ticket, including owner, event metadata, and check-in status. You can also view attendance history for any attendee address. Use the verify attendance button to fetch and display the current attendance status, and the clear button to reset the results.

THE REAL MECHANISM

This tool uses ethers.js v5.7.2 to read data from the chain through the wallet's provider. It does not rely on any hardcoded contract addresses – you paste the ticket contract you are using, so you are in full control. When you verify attendance, the tool calls getTicket on the contract for each ticket ID, which returns the owner, event ID, event name, date, venue, seat, price, and check-in status. If you provide an attendee address, the tool calls getAttendanceHistory, which returns an array of ticket IDs that the attendee has checked in to. The tool also queries the current block number and timestamp to provide context. All reads are performed sequentially to avoid rate limiting issues, and the results are displayed in a clear, readable format.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify off-chain physical attendance, validate identity, detect ticket sharing, or ensure that the ticket contract handles verification correctly. It cannot detect if the person presenting the ticket is the actual ticket holder, if the ticket has been shared or screenshotted, or if the attendee physically attended the event. The tool also cannot verify that the ticket contract correctly handles edge cases like duplicate check-ins, invalid ticket IDs, or verification logic. It cannot simulate the outcome of a transaction before you sign it (as it is read-only), nor can it guarantee that the verification data is accurate if the contract is not properly implemented.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works only on EVM-compatible chains supported by your wallet and provider. Always double-check the contract addresses and ticket IDs before verifying. The tool is a read-only verification and reporting interface, not an identity validation or physical attendance system.
