WHAT IT DOES

NFT Collection Volume Alert watches the current page for NFT listing and sale data, tracks collection trading volume over time by monitoring price and listing activity, calculates volume changes over configurable windows, and triggers alerts when volume spikes or drops beyond user-defined thresholds. The tool helps you identify sudden changes in market activity that may signal buying opportunities or market shifts.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any webpage that displays NFT listing prices and sale data, including NFT marketplaces, collection pages, and trading platforms. It automatically detects listing prices, sale data, and volume indicators from page content. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension, navigate to any NFT collection page. Click the NFT Collection Volume Alert icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+V). The panel will open. Click "Connect Wallet" to connect your real EVM wallet extension—this provides network context. Configure your volume change threshold percentage, minimum volume to alert in ETH, time window in minutes, check interval in seconds, and alert type (Both, Spikes Only, or Drops Only). Toggle desktop notifications and sound alerts on or off. Click "Check Now" for an immediate volume analysis. Click "Start Monitoring" to enable continuous tracking. The panel displays current volume, percentage change, and a log of triggered alerts. Use "Stop Monitoring" to pause tracking.

TECHNICAL SECTION — VOLUME DETECTION AND CHANGE CALCULATION ENGINE

Unlike simple price trackers, this tool uses a volume detection and change calculation engine. It scans the page DOM to detect listing prices from visible NFTs and sale data from transaction indicators, aggregating these into a total volume estimate. Each volume reading is timestamped and stored in a local history buffer. The engine then calculates volume changes over a configurable time window by comparing the current volume against the average volume from the previous window period. When the percentage change exceeds the configured threshold and the volume exceeds the minimum threshold, the tool triggers multi-channel alerts. The engine maintains state to prevent duplicate alerts on the same trend, resetting when the volume moves back within the threshold. This approach provides reliable volume change detection without requiring external APIs.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more of the alert log. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (volume threshold, min volume, time window, interval, change type, notifications, sound) are saved globally and persist across sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension already installed in your browser. EVM chains only—supports Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Wallet connection is read-only; this tool never initiates transactions or signs messages. Cannot detect off-platform sales or transactions that are not visible in the page DOM, cannot track volume data that is not displayed on the current page, cannot detect volume changes that occur between scan intervals, and cannot distinguish between organic volume and wash trading volume. Users must manually verify volume alerts before acting on them. Websites change their layouts frequently; scripts may need updates, and we work to keep them current but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
