About this app

WHAT IT DOES NFT Derivative Collection Verifier watches the current marketplace page for NFT listings, reads the NFT's contract address and token ID from the page, reads the collection metadata and creator information from the contract via eth_call, identifies if the collection is a derivative or original work by analyzing contract patterns and metadata, compares against known original collections, calculates the derivative confidence score, and displays alerts with NFT details, derivative status, confidence score, and execution recommendations when derivative collections are detected. The tool scans the page for NFT listings, reads contract addresses and token IDs, reads collection metadata from the contract, analyzes contract patterns and metadata to identify derivative collections, compares against known original collections, calculates confidence scores, and provides recommendations. WHERE IT RUNS The tool runs as a panel inside your browser on OpenSea marketplace pages at https://opensea.io/*. It works on any OpenSea page displaying NFT listings. The tool connects to your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet injecting window.ethereum) to read on-chain data via eth_call and the ethers library loaded at runtime. No data is sent to any external server; all reads happen directly from the blockchain through your wallet provider. HOW TO USE Install the BotGentz extension, navigate to OpenSea with your wallet connected, and open the NFT Derivative Collection Verifier panel. Set your confidence threshold (1-100, default 70) — the tool will flag collections with confidence scores at or above this threshold. Select your comparison method from the dropdown — Both, Contract Analysis, or Metadata Analysis — to control how the tool determines derivative status. Choose your alert preference — Panel only, Browser notification, or Both. Toggle "Auto-check on page load" if you want the tool to analyze automatically when you open the panel. Click "Verify Collection" — the tool scans the page for NFT listings, reads contract addresses and token IDs, reads collection metadata from the contract, analyzes contract patterns and metadata, compares against known original collections, calculates confidence scores, and displays a comprehensive analysis with recommendations. When derivative collections are detected, the tool triggers alerts with NFT details and confidence scores. Click "Refresh" to manually update the verification analysis. MECHANISM — DERIVATIVE COLLECTION DETECTION WITH CONFIDENCE SCORING This tool uses a derivative collection detection engine that analyzes NFT contract patterns and metadata. The system first connects to window.ethereum and requests the user's wallet address. It scans the page for NFT listings using DOM selectors for item cards and listing details, extracting contract addresses and token IDs. For each NFT, the tool reads collection metadata and creator information from the contract via eth_call, analyzing contract patterns such as naming conventions, deployment patterns, and metadata structures. The tool compares the collection against a list of known original collections (e.g., CryptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Azuki) and calculates a derivative confidence score using a weighted algorithm based on contract similarity, metadata patterns, and collection naming. The urgency classification uses a multi-tier system: DERIVATIVE (confidence ≥ threshold), ORIGINAL (confidence ≥ threshold and collection in known list), or UNKNOWN (confidence < threshold). Recommendations are generated based on the derivative status, helping users identify potentially derivative collections. THE PANEL The BotGentz panel is fully draggable, allowing you to position it anywhere on your screen without obstructing the OpenSea interface. It includes per-site position memory, so the panel returns to your preferred location each time you visit the marketplace. Snap-to-edge functionality lets you dock the panel to any side of the browser window. The panel collapses to a compact icon when not in use and expands with a single click. You can resize it to your preferred dimensions, and pressing the Escape key instantly closes the panel. All interactions are smooth and intuitive, designed to work alongside your NFT browsing workflow. PLEASE NOTE This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (such as MetaMask) already installed in your browser. EVM chains only — currently supports Ethereum mainnet. This is a monitoring and analysis tool only — it does not execute purchase transactions automatically. The tool cannot guarantee that the displayed derivative status matches the exact moment of execution due to on-chain latency. It cannot account for contract changes or updates. It cannot read collection data from contracts not supported by the tool. It cannot verify NFT authenticity or ownership. It cannot predict future derivative status changes. It cannot read private wallet information or purchasing intentions. All blockchain reads are performed directly through your wallet provider; no data is stored or transmitted beyond your browser. Websites change their layouts and content structures regularly; while we continuously update the extraction logic, some pages may require script updates. Always verify all NFT details, collection authenticity, and derivative status independently before taking any action based on the dashboard.
