WHAT IT DOES

NFT Mint Slippage Protector watches the current page for NFT mint transaction parameters—including mint price, gas price, and network conditions—then provides real-time warnings and estimates to help you avoid overpaying due to slippage, high gas fees, or unexpected price changes during NFT minting. It analyzes the page content for mint prices, fetches current gas prices from your connected wallet, and calculates estimated total costs. When prices exceed your configured thresholds, it displays clear warnings so you can make informed decisions before confirming transactions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any webpage that displays NFT minting information, including NFT project pages, minting dApps, marketplaces, and launchpad sites. It automatically detects mint prices in page content and monitors gas conditions through your connected wallet. The script runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension, navigate to any NFT minting page. Click the NFT Mint Slippage Protector icon in your browser toolbar or use the keyboard shortcut (Alt+M). The panel will open. Click "Connect Wallet" to connect your real EVM wallet extension (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)—this enables gas price and network detection. Configure your maximum gas price in Gwei and your maximum mint price tolerance percentage in the settings. The tool will automatically detect the mint price from the page and calculate the estimated total cost including gas. Click "Check Warnings" to see if any thresholds are exceeded. Use "Refresh All" to update all metrics. The panel displays gas price, detected mint price, estimated total cost, and any warnings about slippage or high fees.

TECHNICAL SECTION — REAL-TIME COST AGGREGATION AND THRESHOLD ALERTING

Unlike simple gas checkers or manual price calculators, this tool uses a real-time cost aggregation and threshold alerting engine. It simultaneously reads mint prices from page content using multiple detection strategies—scanning button text, price labels, and numeric patterns—while fetching current gas prices directly from your connected wallet via eth_gasPrice RPC calls. The engine then calculates the total estimated cost using a configurable gas limit (default 150,000, appropriate for typical NFT mints). It compares both the mint price variance and the total gas cost against your configured tolerance thresholds, generating clear warnings when either threshold is exceeded. The tool also detects price inconsistencies across multiple sources on the same page, alerting you to potential slippage risks. This dual-threshold approach protects against both unexpected gas spikes and mint price changes that could significantly increase your total cost.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to show more details. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (gas threshold, price tolerance, preferred chain) are saved globally and persist across sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension already installed in your browser. EVM chains only—supports Ethereum Mainnet, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Wallet connection is read-only; this tool never initiates transactions or signs messages. Cannot predict future gas price spikes or network congestion, cannot detect off-chain mint price changes that are not visible in page content or transaction data, and cannot prevent transactions that are already signed and broadcast from being processed. Always verify all details manually before confirming any mint transaction. Websites change their layouts frequently; scripts may need updates, and we work to keep them current but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
