NFT Rental Claim Tool

WHAT IT DOES

NFT Rental Claim Tool lets you rent NFTs from listed rentals on supported marketplaces. Instead of buying an NFT outright, you can pay a rental fee to temporarily gain ownership rights for a specified duration—perfect for gaming, event access, or utility NFTs where you only need temporary use. The tool checks the availability of each listing, verifies the rental price and duration, and executes the rental transaction in one streamlined flow. You pay the rental fee (in native currency) and receive the NFT for the agreed period.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet and select the network. Enter the rental marketplace contract address that supports NFT rentals. In the input area, list each rental listing you want to claim using the format: contract,tokenId,listingId. Click "Add listings" to load them, then click "Check listings" to verify that each listing is active and available for rent—the tool queries the rental contract for listing status, price, and duration. Review the status, then click "Rent NFTs" to pay the rental fee and claim the NFTs. The tool calculates the total rental cost based on price per day and duration, then submits the rental transactions.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool first queries the rental contract's listing function to retrieve the active status, lister address, price per day, and duration for each listing. It filters out listings that are not active or have no lister. It then calculates the total rental cost as (price_per_day * duration) / 86400 (seconds per day) for each listing and sums them. The tool verifies that the connected wallet has sufficient native balance to cover the total cost, then calls the rental contract's rentNFT() function for each listing, passing the NFT contract, token ID, listing ID, and the rental payment as value. The rental contract transfers temporary ownership rights to the renter for the specified duration. The tool uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate gas reporting and provides progress feedback during the rental process.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot rent NFTs that are not actively listed for rent—listing status is verified before proceeding. It relies on the rental marketplace supporting the specific NFT standard (ERC-721 or ERC-1155) and the listing interface. NFTs with non-standard transfer or ownership logic, or those not supported by the rental contract, are not compatible. The tool cannot guarantee that the NFT will be available for the full rental duration or that the renter will not violate rental terms—this depends on marketplace rules and enforcement mechanisms.

PLEASE NOTE

Rental payments are sent to the lister at the time of rental. The NFT is temporarily transferred to your wallet for the duration of the rental period. After the rental ends, the NFT automatically returns to the lister. Ensure you have sufficient native tokens (ETH, BNB, etc.) to cover the rental fee. The rental contract must be trusted; verify its security and audit status before use. This tool is for EVM chains only and does not support non-EVM networks.
