About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool provides a secure, on-chain verification and check-in system for NFT event tickets. It reads your connected wallet address, the NFT ticket contract address, ticket token IDs, ownership status, ticket metadata (event name, venue, date, seat), current block timestamp, event start/end times, ticket validity status, and check-in status per token. You can then sign and send transactions to verify ticket authenticity, mark tickets as checked-in, revoke check-ins if needed, and record attendance metadata on-chain. All ticket information is displayed in a clear review panel before you sign, so you know exactly what you are verifying. The tool also logs transaction hashes, confirmation status, and gas costs for every action, providing a complete audit trail of all check-in activities.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the built-in wallet bridge, choose the network that matches your NFT ticket contract, and paste the contract address. Enter the ticket token IDs you wish to verify or check in, and optionally set the event start and end timestamps to validate ticket validity within the event window. The review panel shows all inputs and the current block timestamp before you sign. Use the numbered action buttons: check ticket status to verify ownership and current check-in state, check-in selected tickets to mark attendance, or revoke check-in to undo an entry. Each transaction is signed sequentially, and the tool displays transaction details, confirmation status, and gas costs. The ticket metadata section shows ownership, check-in status, and validity for all scanned tickets.

THE REAL MECHANISM

This tool uses ethers.js v5.7.2 to build and send transactions through the wallet's signer. It does not rely on any hardcoded contract addresses – you paste the contract you are using, so you are in full control of what you interact with. The tool reads ticket state directly from the contract using view functions like ownerOf, isCheckedIn, and isValidTicket, ensuring you see the current on-chain status before taking any action. When you perform a check-in, the tool constructs a contract call to the checkIn function, which updates the ticket's state on-chain. Check-ins are processed sequentially to prevent nonce conflicts and ensure reliable execution. The tool also respects event time windows, checking current block timestamp against event start and end times to help you verify that tickets are being checked in during the valid event period. All transaction data is recorded in a persistent log area for complete auditability.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify off-chain identity of ticket holders, validate physical attendance at the event, detect ticket resale or screen-sharing, or verify that the person presenting the ticket is the actual owner. It cannot detect if a ticket has been screenshotted or shared, nor can it verify that the person holding the wallet is the same person who physically attended the event. The tool also cannot detect if the NFT contract contains vulnerabilities or malicious code, or if the ticket metadata has been tampered with off-chain.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works only on EVM-compatible chains supported by your wallet and provider. Always double-check the contract address and parameters before signing. Use testnet first. The tool is a transaction-signing interface and on-chain verification tool, not a physical attendance validation system.
