On-Chain Bond Purchase Tool is a non-custodial tool that purchases on-chain bonds representing debt instruments with fixed yield and maturity. It reads bond contract state, user address, token balances, bond parameters, bond ID, bond price, bond quantity, purchase deadline, max supply, current issuance, user's purchase history, purchase eligibility, collateral approval status, yield rate, maturity date, and settlement state to structure the optimal purchase operation. With a single transaction, it calls purchaseBond(), buyBond(), or executeBondPurchase() on the target contract, acquiring bond tokens that represent debt with fixed yield and maturity. The tool supports both native currency and ERC-20 token bond purchases with configurable quantities.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your wallet (EVM-compatible).

2. Paste the bond contract address.

3. Enter the bond ID, number of bonds, and price per bond.

4. Optionally specify a token address (leave empty for native currency).

5. Review the yield rate, maturity date, and purchase eligibility.

6. Click "purchase bonds" and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

The tool automatically handles collateral approvals if using an ERC-20 token. After the transaction confirms, your bonds are purchased on-chain—no centralized custody, no intermediaries. You receive bond tokens that will mature at the specified date and accrue yield.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM: MULTI-FUNCTION FALLBACK WITH AUTO-APPROVAL

Unlike simple transaction builders that assume a single function signature, this tool implements a multi-function fallback strategy. It first attempts purchaseBond(), then falls back to buyBond() or executeBondPurchase() if the primary method fails—automatically adapting to different contract implementations without requiring the user to know the exact function name. For all on-chain reads, it uses chunked block range scanning that halves on failure, preventing the common "eth_getLogs limit exceeded" error that halts most scanners on public RPCs. It double-verifies approval status by checking the current allowance from storage, rather than relying on historical Approval events—because an event log proves an approval happened, not that it still stands. Gas estimation uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate post-EIP-1559 cost accounting, and all batched operations are sequential with concurrency caps to avoid nonce conflicts. The tool also validates that bonds are available and that the purchase deadline has not passed before execution.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the bond contract is legitimate or has not been compromised. It cannot detect if the bond has been manipulated. It cannot ensure that purchase will execute at the optimal gas price due to network conditions. It cannot guarantee that purchase will succeed if the contract is paused or frozen. It cannot verify that the contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the trade path is optimal or not front-run. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that the bond price is valid or not. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying issuer has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying purchase parameters. It cannot ensure that the purchase will be processed. It cannot protect against loss if purchase is rejected. It cannot verify that bonds are available. It cannot guarantee that the bond will mature. It cannot ensure that the yield will be paid. It cannot verify that the purchase deadline has not passed.
