You can choose between a formal or direct style, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your email client or support request form.

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying privacy notices, marketing preferences, data sharing policies, or similar privacy-related content. Common sources include company privacy portals, account settings pages, and legal notice pages.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays a privacy notice, marketing preference, or data sharing policy. Open the BotGentz extension and select Opt-Out Request Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name, email address, and optionally your account ID or username in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Select the type of opt-out (marketing emails, third-party sharing, targeted advertising, all communications, or custom). Optionally, enter custom opt-out details and a confirmation preference. Select your preferred style (formal or direct) from the dropdown menu. Click the "Draft Request" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant privacy or policy details and sends them along with your information to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a clear, professional opt-out request in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your email client.

TECHNICAL SECTION — PRIVACY NOTICE AND OPT-OUT INSTRUCTION EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on privacy, marketing, and opt-out communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing opt-out indicators such as "opt-out," "unsubscribe," "privacy," "marketing," "data sharing," "preferences," "third party," "advertising," "communications," "email," "phone," and "consent." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the policy data and surrounding structural markers (opt-out options, preference categories, contact fields). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of an opt-out context using features like privacy language frequency ("opt-out," "unsubscribe," "privacy," "marketing," "share"), option markers, and preference indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into three core categories: the types of communications or data sharing available for opt-out, the account or contact details required, and any confirmation processes. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, account ID, opt-out type, custom details, confirmation preference, and style preference), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a complete opt-out request with standardized sections (request type, account details, confirmation request, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated opt-out requests are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and completeness before sending, as interpretations may occasionally miss policy nuances or misread opt-out options. Websites change their privacy page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email, account ID) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
