About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Optimism Approve-and-Batch-Send Combo Tool is a specialized DeFi tool that streamlines the two-step process of approving a token transfer contract and executing a batch send into a single, guided workflow. Many batch senders require you to manually send an approve() transaction before the batch transfer can execute—this tool combines both operations into one cohesive flow, automatically checking your current allowance and prompting for the approval only when needed. After approval is confirmed, it immediately proceeds with the batched transfer to all recipients. This eliminates the common user error of forgetting to approve, approving the wrong amount, or getting confused by the two separate transactions. The tool is ideal for bulk airdrops, payroll distributions, and any scenario where you need to send tokens to multiple recipients on Optimism but don't want to manage the approval step separately.

HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet to the Optimism network. Enter the ERC-20 token contract address you wish to distribute. Paste or upload your list of recipients in the format "address, amount" with one entry per line—amounts are in human-readable token units. The tool parses the list and calculates the total tokens to be sent. It automatically checks your current allowance for the sender contract and displays both the required allowance and your current allowance. Review the sender contract address, fee, and contract owner for transparency. Click the approve and send batch button. If your current allowance is sufficient, the tool proceeds directly to the batch transfer. If not, it first sends an approve transaction for the exact total amount, waits for confirmation, then automatically sends the batch transfer. You will need to confirm both transactions in your wallet (if approval is required), but the tool guides you through each step with clear progress indicators.

MECHANISM: ALLOWANCE CHECK WITH SEQUENTIAL TRANSACTION ORCHESTRATION

The tool implements a two-phase workflow with automatic allowance verification. First, it reads the sender's current allowance for the sender contract using the ERC-20 allowance() function. If the allowance is less than the total amount required (all recipient amounts plus the fee), the tool sends an approve() transaction to set the allowance to exactly the total required amount—never an unlimited amount, following security best practices. The tool waits for the approval transaction to be confirmed, then re-checks the allowance to verify success. If the allowance is sufficient (either existing or newly approved), the tool proceeds to execute the batchTransferERC20 function on the shared BotGentz sender contract. The tool reads the fee() function live from the sender contract before sending, ensuring the fee is accurate. The entire process is guided with clear progress messages and progress bar updates, eliminating confusion about which step is currently executing. The two transactions are sequential and independent—the approval is not atomically linked to the batch send, but the tool handles both in a single user flow.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool reads token allowance and balance for approval checks but cannot verify recipient validity, token contract correctness, transfer pausing, blacklisting, or gas fluctuations. It cannot guarantee that all transfers will succeed—if one transfer fails due to a blacklisted address, a contract that rejects the token, or any other reason, the entire batch reverts. It cannot account for Optimism-specific gas mechanics or L2 fee structures. It cannot detect if the approval is insufficient or if the user cancels the approval transaction—if the user cancels approval, the batch send will not proceed. It cannot ensure that the approval is atomic with the batch transfer since they are two separate transactions. It cannot recover if the approval succeeds but the batch transfer fails—the user would have already spent gas on approval. It cannot verify that the sender will maintain sufficient balance after approval and before batch execution.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool works exclusively on EVM-compatible chains and is specifically designed for Optimism. It requires the user to have sufficient native ETH for gas on both the approval transaction (if needed) and the batch send transaction. The user is solely responsible for verifying the token contract address, recipient addresses, and amounts before signing. Always test with a small batch first to confirm the setup is correct. The approval is for the exact total amount only—this is more secure than unlimited approvals. If the approval transaction fails or is cancelled, the batch send will not execute. The sender contract addresses are hardcoded per chain and are publicly available for verification; no third-party custody is involved; you remain in full control of your wallet and funds at all times.
