About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The Options Vault Deposit Tool enables depositing assets into options strategy vaults. It reads comprehensive state from options vault and token contracts including vault ID, deposit amount, vault shares, share price, total assets, options strategy parameters (strike price, expiration date, premium), implied volatility, delta, gamma, theta, vault APY, deposit eligibility, deposit windows, platform fees, user's vault shares, user's deposit history, vault performance, option positions, collateral ratio, risk metrics, and withdrawal queue. Users can deposit using multiple methods: depositVault with data, depositOptions with auto-compound, mintVaultShares for share minting, or addLiquidity for liquidity provision. The tool displays share price, total assets, vault APY, deposit eligibility, and deposit history, providing full visibility before depositing into options vaults.

HOW TO USE

Connect your Web3 wallet and paste the options vault contract address and token contract address. The tool never hardcodes addresses—you specify the contracts you're vouching for. Enter the vault ID, select the deposit method, specify the deposit amount, and optionally provide custom deposit data. Check "Approve token spending" to handle approvals automatically or "Auto-compound yield" for automatic yield reinvestment. Click "Fetch vault state" to view share price, total assets, your vault shares, vault APY, deposit eligibility, deposit window, platform fee, and deposit history. Review the displayed vault metrics and APY carefully—depositing into options vaults exposes your assets to options strategies. Click "Deposit" to submit the deposit transaction. Transaction status, gas costs, and confirmation are displayed upon completion.

MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE: DUAL-CONTRACT STATE AGGREGATION WITH DEPOSIT HISTORY DISCOVERY

Unlike hardcoded vault tools that only read from a single contract, this tool simultaneously aggregates state from both options vault and token contracts, fetching seven different data points in parallel using Promise.all with individual error boundaries. This ensures that a revert in one view function doesn't prevent retrieval of other critical metrics. The tool automatically discovers deposit history by iterating through deposit event indices until it hits empty entries (capped at 10 for performance), displaying user addresses, amounts, shares, and status for full transparency. The tool dynamically selects the appropriate deposit method based on user input—depositVault with data, depositOptions with auto-compound, mintVaultShares for share minting, and addLiquidity for liquidity provision. Gas estimation factors in deposit method complexity and amount, and the tool uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice post-transaction for accurate cost reporting rather than relying on the pre-EIP-1559 gasPrice cap. Share prices, APY, and deposit windows are displayed prominently, enabling informed deposit decisions.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the options vault contract or token contract is legitimate or has not been compromised. It cannot detect if the vault parameters have been manipulated or if the contracts have been upgraded or modified. Deposit may not execute at optimal gas price due to network conditions or succeed if the contract is paused or frozen. The tool cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that deposit parameters are valid, predict gas prices during congestion, or detect if the deposit has been front-run. The tool cannot ensure that the vault will perform as expected, provide financial or investment advice, guarantee that options strategy will be profitable, verify off-chain volatility calculations, ensure that all conditions for deposit are met, or track deposit status outside of the tool. Options vaults involve complex derivatives strategies—past performance does not guarantee future returns.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool operates on EVM-compatible chains only. It reads from and writes to options vault and token contracts but provides no financial or investment advice. All deposit decisions remain your responsibility. Always verify contract addresses, vault IDs, and deposit amounts before submitting transactions. The tool displays current state but does not automatically deposit—you must review and confirm each transaction through your wallet. Gas costs vary by network conditions; the tool estimates but cannot guarantee optimal pricing. Options strategies involve risk of loss—understand the strategy and risk metrics before depositing. Share prices and APY are dynamic and may change based on market conditions and vault performance.
