WHAT IT DOES
Order Book Market Order Executor is a non-custodial tool that executes market orders on on-chain order books, enabling users to buy or sell assets at the current best available market price. It reads order book contract state, user address, token balances, order parameters, base token address, quote token address, order size, order side (buy/sell), slippage tolerance, order type, order expiry, user's order history, trade history, order book depth, current best bid/ask, liquidity state, collateral approval status, and execution price to structure the optimal market order execution operation. With a single transaction, it calls executeMarketOrder(), placeMarketOrder(), or submitMarketOrder() on the target contract, executing a market order at the current best available price. The tool supports both buy and sell orders with configurable slippage tolerance.
HOW TO USE
1. Connect your wallet (EVM-compatible).
2. Paste the order book contract address, base token address, and quote token address.
3. Select the order side (buy or sell) and enter the order size.
4. Set your slippage tolerance percentage.
5. Review the best bid/ask prices and estimated execution price.
6. Click "execute market order" and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
The tool automatically handles token approvals for both buy and sell orders. After the transaction confirms, your market order is executed on-chain—no centralized custody, no intermediaries. The order executes immediately at the current market price.
TECHNICAL MECHANISM: MULTI-FUNCTION FALLBACK WITH AUTO-APPROVAL
Unlike simple transaction builders that assume a single function signature, this tool implements a multi-function fallback strategy. It first attempts executeMarketOrder(), then falls back to placeMarketOrder() or submitMarketOrder() if the primary method fails—automatically adapting to different contract implementations without requiring the user to know the exact function name. For all on-chain reads, it uses chunked block range scanning that halves on failure, preventing the common "eth_getLogs limit exceeded" error that halts most scanners on public RPCs. It double-verifies approval status by checking the current allowance from storage, rather than relying on historical Approval events—because an event log proves an approval happened, not that it still stands. Gas estimation uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate post-EIP-1559 cost accounting, and all batched operations are sequential with concurrency caps to avoid nonce conflicts. The tool also validates that the order size is within acceptable limits and that slippage tolerance is reasonable before execution.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
This tool cannot verify that the order book contract is legitimate or has not been compromised. It cannot detect if the order book has been manipulated. It cannot ensure that order will execute at the optimal price due to slippage and market volatility. It cannot guarantee that order will succeed if the order book contract is paused or frozen. It cannot verify that the contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the trade path is optimal or not front-run. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that the execution price is valid or not. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying trading pair has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying order parameters. It cannot ensure that the order will be fully filled. It cannot protect against loss if order executes at unfavorable price. It cannot verify that slippage tolerance is sufficient. It cannot guarantee that the order will execute immediately. It cannot ensure that partial fills will be processed correctly.
