WHAT IT DOES

This userscript transforms your Patreon tier list into an interactive comparison dashboard. It reads tier data from the page—including tier names, prices, benefits, and member counts—and displays a color-coded overlay showing the value proposition of each tier. Each tier receives a value indicator: green for "Best Value," yellow for "Good Value," and blue for "Standard," calculated using a benefits-to-price ratio that considers the number of benefits, member count, and price point. A summary panel shows total members, average tier price, and the most popular tier. A benefit comparison panel shows which benefits are common across all tiers, shared by some, or unique to a single tier. Each tier includes a one-click ↗ button to open the tier management page. This is invaluable for creators, content marketers, and Patreon administrators who need to optimize their membership offerings, understand tier value distribution, and maximize member conversion.

WHERE IT RUNS

The script runs on all Patreon web application pages at *.patreon.com/*, with automatic detection of creator pages, tier lists, and any page displaying membership tier information. It works across all Patreon interfaces by using multiple selector strategies to find tier cards, names, prices, benefits, and member counts. The script detects dynamic content loading and re-renders the comparison overlay when the tier list updates. It runs across the entire Patreon domain, ensuring coverage whether you're viewing your own creator page, a tier management view, or a public creator page.

HOW TO USE

Install the script via the BotGentz extension and navigate to any Patreon page displaying membership tiers. The tier comparison overlay will appear automatically, showing value indicators on every tier. Each tier displays a badge with its value label (Best Value, Good Value, or Standard) and a color-coded background. The summary panel shows total tiers, total members, average tier price, and the most popular tier. The benefit comparison panel shows all benefits across tiers with indicators for common, shared, and unique benefits. Click the ↗ button next to any tier to open its management page in a new tab. Use the panel controls to customize your experience: toggle the tier comparison overlay on or off, show or hide value indicators, enable or disable member counts on tiers, or show or hide the benefit comparison. The "Refresh" button manually rescans the page for updated tier data, and the "Copy summary" button exports the tier summary to your clipboard for reporting.

THE MECHANISM - DATA EXTRACTION, VALUE SCORING, AND BENEFIT ANALYSIS

This script identifies tier data by scanning the DOM for known Patreon tier elements using a cascading selector strategy. It extracts tier names from name or title elements, prices from price elements, benefits from benefit lists or feature lists, and member counts from member count elements. The value score is calculated using a weighted formula: benefits count contributes 1.5 points each, member count contributes a factor (members / 20), and price subtracts a factor (price / 5). The score is normalized to 0-100 and mapped to value labels: "Best Value" (70+), "Good Value" (40-69), and "Standard" (0-39). Benefit analysis identifies common benefits (appearing in all tiers), shared benefits (in multiple but not all), and unique benefits (in a single tier). The badge is created as a DOM element with inline styles and inserted into the tier name cell.

THE PANEL

The control panel appears as a floating, draggable element that you can position anywhere on the Patreon page. Drag by the header to reposition it, and the position is saved per site using GM_setValue so it stays where you left it across sessions. Release the panel near any edge and it snaps into place, keeping your workspace organized. Click the panel header to collapse it into a small bubble showing only the chart emoji (📊), minimizing distraction while keeping controls accessible. Drag from the bubble to restore the full panel. The panel automatically resizes to fit its content and includes all setting toggles, action buttons, and a value legend. Press the Escape key to quickly collapse the panel to its minimized state. The panel remains visible across page navigation within Patreon, with the tier comparison overlay updating automatically as you move between views.

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to function. It is designed for Patreon creators and administrators who need to optimize tier offerings. The script reads only visible tier data from the DOM—it does not access Patreon's API, your account credentials, or any sensitive information. All settings (overlay visibility, value indicator toggle, member count toggle, benefit comparison toggle, and panel position) are stored locally using GM_setValue and never leave your browser. The script does not modify your Patreon data—it only reads and visualizes visible tier information. The value score is a proprietary metric based on available data and should be used as a guide, not a definitive assessment. If Patreon updates its website structure, the script may need to be updated to match new selectors. The benefit comparison extracts benefits from visible elements; if benefits are not displayed as structured lists, the analysis may be less accurate.
