Pet Vaccination Record Organizer

WHAT IT DOES This userscript helps pet owners track vaccination records by extracting and organizing details from vet records, vaccination pages, or PDF text. It scans pages for pet name, vaccine type, administration date, expiration date, and next due date. It parses common vaccine names (Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Leptospirosis, Lyme, Influenza, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Leukemia), calculates due dates based on standard vaccination schedules (e.g., Rabies: 1 year, Bordetella: 6 months), and highlights overdue vaccinations with color-coded status (Current, Upcoming, Due Soon, Overdue). The script stores records for multiple pets, sets reminders for upcoming due dates, and exports the vaccination history as CSV, JSON, or HTML (printable certificate). It also suggests the next vaccination date based on standard veterinary schedules. WHERE IT RUNS The script works on pet vaccination pages, vet records, PDF text, or any page with vaccination information. It runs entirely within your browser, reading only the visible content of the current page. It does not track your browsing history, access other tabs, or send any data externally. All vaccination data is processed and stored locally. HOW TO USE After installation, open the panel by clicking the tool's icon in the BotGentz sidebar. Click "Scan page for records" to extract vaccination details from the current page. Manually add records using the "Add Record" form with pet name, vaccine type, admin date (MM/DD/YYYY), and optional vet clinic. The records display shows each pet's vaccinations with status color coding. Use the export dropdown to choose your format—Certificate (HTML printable certificate), CSV (spreadsheet), or JSON. Select a specific pet or "All" to export records for a single pet. Click "Export" to download. THE TECHNICAL MECHANISM This script uses text extraction to identify vaccination records from page content. It scans for pet names using patterns like "Dog" or "Cat" after a capitalized name, detects vaccine names from a list of common vaccines, and parses dates using multiple formats (MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, and named month formats). The due date calculation uses vaccine-specific intervals—Rabies: 365 days, Bordetella: 180 days, others default to 365 days.
